Bar Berthod — Restaurant in Courmayeur

There was no menu available (we asked), and no prices were displayed. We ended up paying €10 for two Fuze Teas, which is quite a high price. The receipt simply listed the items as 'Bar', which gives the impression that staff might be making up the prices on the spot. That left me with a feeling of being scammed.

Advice for the staff: be more transparent on prices. Advice for the customers: ask for the price...

Great place if you enjoy getting robbed. 3 euros for a croissant and 2.50 for a cappuccino (or the other way round, impossible to tell from the receipt). Ask for prices – you won't find them anywhere. Also, not dog friendly – had to go to the bathroom after getting off a 4-hour bus ride and I was told I could go if I tied my dog to a random street...

Nice to hang out with the kids whilst waiting down my husband to finish the ETC (UTMB). I was on my own with 2 small children so looked for somewhere quite spacious and not too posh! This place ticked the boxes :-) Not much in the way of real food. But drinks and snacks were OK. 11 euros for 1 coffee and 2 cokes. Expected price. No meals just...
