My wife and I work in the restaurant business. And when I say this place was horrible, take my word for it. The staff were all over the place, no had a station. One person got us water, another took our appetizers, and then the head guy took our steak orders. 1. We got the wrong appetizers, and it was changed. Then the steaks came out. Under cooked, fatty, and tough. They cooked it a little more. So we started eating, the meat wasn't good. My wife and I hardly finished our meal. Then the check came. My eyes opened wide. Why is this meal €208?? I ordered a black Angus steak, and my wife ordered a ribeye, no drinks. We called over the tattooed guy i forgot his name. You'll know when you see him. We told him the situation, and he insisted that I had ordered the wagu steak. I said no, I didn't. We told him what we ordered, but he refused to understand. He said the ribeye was the black Angus, and we ordered the Australian wagu. 1st wagu is from Japan. Angus and ribeye are 2 different cuts of meat. But he refused and started a hissy fit. Read moreI will never go back. We have been on holiday in several places in northern Italy over a two week period and this is the most expensive yet worst food anywhere. The waitress convinced us to go for their special steak 350 g each. When one of the three arrived it was paper thin. When we pointed this out she argued that that”it is as it is and all steaks are different cuts” What???? It was less than half the size of the others. The sides were a handful of frozen French fries at most €0.50. She argued! but eventually changed the underweight steak but one of our group then had to eat alone when the rest had finished. Very poor, rude, bad mannered service and very expensive for a fatty, not very tender steak and frozen French fries. Especially GLAUCO who was very nice and did everything to make us happy. The meat is the most important thing and the main reason We came. I took a piece of Rib Eye of 1 kilogram (3 fingers) type BALTICO Holstein Scottona GRASS FED. A real challenge to prepare it and the chef went above and beyond and managed to grill it very well.
