Hotel Vittorio — Hotel in Desenzano del Garda

We stayed in the Platinum Suite for 7 nights to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. The room was spacious, nicely designed with a lovely ensuite that included a power shower. The room was divided in two and separated by pocket sliding doors. Both areas had a wall mounted television, the only problem was that both tv's turned on when we used the same remote, if I changed the channel on one it also changed the channel on the other. In the end I just unplugged one of the tv's. Like most hotels in Europe there was a lack of English speaking channels unless of course you wanted to watch the news on a loop. The last thing I want to see on holiday is the news!! A few channels with light entertainment would be a great addition for when the weather is not so good.||The room had two fantastic terraces with views of the lake and were equipped with tables and two sun loungers. To be fair it was a brilliant facility.||Breakfast was possibly the best and most plentiful we've had in all our visits to Italy, it had an abundance of everything and the fruit was so fresh and tasty. The effort the hotel puts in the preparing the dishes is to be applauded, fantastic cakes, tarts, savory and sweet croissants, hot food, it had everything you could wish for. Bravo!!||You will find it hard to find a hotel in Desenzano that will provide you with the location and views of Hotel Vittorio. But the biggest plus for this hotel is it's staff, everyone of them was so nice and welcoming. Really great stay overall! The hotel was super clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — honestly, they’ll do pretty much anything you ask, which made everything so easy and comfortable.

The lady at the reception was super helpful – she even wrote down for us where the buses go and what time they come back. Really, really great and helpful service!

Breakfasts? Amazing. Everything fresh, tasty, and beautifully prepared. Every day there was something new, especially the bread – different types daily, including bruschetta, and lots of options for vegetarians and vegans too. Fresh fruit, spreads, and a buffet that you could mix and match however you like.

The location is right in the center of town, so if you’re into exploring, it’s perfect. One minute to the ferry, 2-3 minutes to the bus stop, shops all around, and tons of restaurants nearby to choose from — literally something for everyone.

There’s a lift, daily cleaning service, and AC inside, so comfort-wise, no complaints at all.

Just one thing – it’s not a place for people who want quiet evenings. Since it’s right in the city center, evenings can get lively. If you like a peaceful, silent night – maybe look elsewhere. But if you’re okay with a bit of city buzz, this place is totally worth it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Vittorio during a trip to Desenzano on the shores of Lake Garda, and I was thoroughly impressed. The hotel is ideally located just a short walk from the charming town center and promenade along the lake, providing easy access to shops, restaurants, and the scenic waterfront.

The room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and impeccably clean. The furnishings had a lovely classic Italian style, and the bed was extremely comfortable.
