Avoid This Place – Overpriced and Appalling Service
I had one of the worst dining experiences ever at this restaurant in Rome Airport. Despite the premium prices, the service was absolutely disgusting. We waited 20 minutes just to be seated, even though the place wasn’t particularly busy.
Once seated, we waved down staff repeatedly for another 20 minutes before anyone took our order. We specifically asked for the starters and mains to be brought separately, but of course, they brought everything all at once—cold and rushed.
The so-called €20 “gourmet” salad came with Heinz dressing. That should tell you everything you need to know about the quality of the food.
To top it off, we waited over 30 minutes for the bill, asking five different servers who all ignored us. I had to stand up and prepare to walk out before anyone finally brought the check—complete with a 15% service charge already included. Absolutely shameless.
Save your money and your sanity. Stay far away...

The club had no mayonnaise so it was very dry; when I asked for a side of mayo, the server made a snide comment about “extra” mayo. Only one of us received flatware. He bumped into us without apology. Brought us an appetizer we did not order and the wrong drink. There is a language barrier but surely an extra appetizer, which came out after our meal, is an obvious mistake, especially after the order is repeated back to us. The food quality is pretty bland. A request for another drink was ignored. The server seemed angry to be here today, never a smile to anyone, very curt, and flat out ignored us waving him down and speaking to him. It took us awhile to even get him to provide a check; we had to board our flight - you’re in an airport, maybe be more aware of that?

I sat at this restaurant in FCO airport for over 15 minutes, completely ignored by the waitress who looked directly at me multiple times and chose not to bring a menu, offer water, or even acknowledge my presence. Not a word. Just prolonged eye contact and active avoidance.
The only thing on the menu here seems to be disrespect.
Whether it was because of my race, my tattoos, or simply the fact that I wasn’t Italian, I can’t say for sure—but the message was clear: I wasn’t welcome.
No traveler deserves to feel invisible or unwelcome while simply trying to get a meal. This kind of behavior doesn’t just reflect poor service—it reflects bias. And it has no place in hospitality, especially in an international airport.
