The lady worker was so rude so rude, I was taking a video of the food to show my kids who are sitting far away because they are tired after a long flight and unable to walk around to choose food from the food court, so, I was taking a video to show them the food to choose from but the worker told me "no photo" "no photo", I tried to explain to her that this is a video for my kids to choose the food but she insisted "no photo" and then she called her manager Alex to come to confront me. I told her I am not buying from you then. So rude and so mean person , is her food a big secret so no one can record a video or take a photo? I am a google local guide and usually I capture photos and videos to add them to my google review. I took a video for the restaurant right next to them "Caffe Kimbo" and the guy who work there- his name is Maximo- was so nice and friendly and never mind that I record a video and even joked and said "cheese" while I was recording the video . and I bought pizza, coffee and beverages and Ice cream for over $60 from the caffe Kimbo the restaurant next door just for Maximo being nice and friendly.
Alex, that person that she was calling to confront me for taking a video is better that he teaches her a lesson on how to treat customers and be nice and...
Read moreMy experience with La Fucina restaurant at Rome airport left much to be desired. We specifically communicated the urgency of our flight’s gate closing time, but unfortunately, they failed to deliver our take-away burgers in a timely manner. It was only due to a fortunate delay in the gate closing that we narrowly avoided missing our flight.
To make matters worse, despite explicitly mentioning our allergy to guacamole, the staff carelessly included it in our burgers. This disregard for our safety was not only unprofessional but also potentially harmful.
Adding insult to injury, the chicken in the burger was a major disappointment. It lacked flavor, tenderness, and moisture, leaving us with a dry and tasteless patty. It was far from the enjoyable dining experience we had hoped for.
Considering the underwhelming quality of the food, the high price tag of €15 for a single burger felt unjustifiable. We felt like we were being taken advantage of, paying a premium for subpar quality.
In conclusion, La Fucina fell short on several fronts—timeliness, attentiveness to customer requests, and delivering a satisfying meal. I would advise potential customers to exercise caution and explore other options when seeking take-away burgers at...
Read moreSuper racist cashier made me a cup of caffeinated Americano when I asked for decaf macchiato, and refused to refund me the overcharged amount.
When I confronted him, he just put some milk into the Americano and said now this is macchiato. He also mumbled some offensive Italian words but I couldn’t understand, and seemed super annoyed and irritated.
Another black lady in front of me had the similar treatment, that he’s very impatient and didn’t look at her while taking the order. The lady asked for a cup of hot water along with her order, the cashier just straight up ignored her request. When she asked for the 3rd time, he said for such a small order she doesn’t deserve a cup of free water.
However, whenever it’s a non- person of color customer, he’s very patient and smiles, asking if there’s any specific requirements.
It’s incredibly absurd that this level of racism is happening at an international airport in 2023. As a customer, I’m paying for service, not paying for being offended . If you’re a POC, I urge you avoid...
