Food is really very bad and cold at Chef Market Rome Fumicio International Airport.

And the worst part is that the staff is extremely rude. They either don’t understand English or they simply choose to Misbehave with people who don’t know Italian. We had asked them reheat the food as it was cold (Pasta and Lasagne), staff started to mumble something in Italian very rudely. Then we had some query regarding the card transaction to which we seemed very pissed and again started to mumble with very annoyed expression. Irony is we are in an International Airport where you have people from different parts of the world who obviously would converse in English.

Such type of food courts should have people from great hospitality background who understand and speak in English with the best behavioural skills.

Extremely disappointed by this place. No taste, only sour experience with your money...

I can live with the poor service issues which others have mentioned and the food quality which was okay, but this is a public service warning regarding the salad.

There was no price listed for the choose-your-own-ingredient salad, so I decided that I would see how much my wife's ended up costing before I ordered my own.

The server began by taking out a huge plastic container and filling it with lots of lettuce. Then she asked what ingredients my wife wanted. She chose several.

The lid was closed and the server wrote 4 on it, and I thought , "Four euros is a good deal for that salad." When we got to the register, I learned that 4 somehow meant 37,60 euros!!! Maybe 4 is the code for "Charge them a fortune - they're tourists, and we won't see them again anyway."

If you're used to paying 37 euros for food court salad, I apologize for the rant. If not, I thought it was worth...

Came here this morning and I love posting photos of food and how beautiful the presentations are of it. I was told by one staff memeber of the Salumi Ferrarini fresh market that I was to not take pictures of their food. Upon walking in it was already heated because the lady made a cappuccino which was not what the guest ordered and she had a horrible attitude and was slamming things around. Both women were completely rude and disrespectful to the customers and obviously one another. I was very happy to hurry and get my food and get out of there. Hopefully they cool down or find other employment if they are unhappy with their jobs . The only time they cracked a smile was when making beverages for airport employees. You can tell they did not want to be bothered with people that were non Italian I believe. Other than that the food was great just terrible service ......

Rude customer service. Ordered the porchetta panino and the lady grilled it for 2 seconds and took it off. Went to sit down and enjoy, but the bread was stale and dry. Hard to swallow. Went back to ask for it to be toasted longer by the same lady. She pointed me to the bar, went there and he pointed me back to the lady to be toasted. Stood in line for 3 minutes as she ignored me. Tried to get her attention for the whole time as she served other customers around me. Eventually she took my sandwich and toasted it. Incredible! As for the porchetta, there was one piece of skin and it was soggy and chewy. Pork was dry and bread was old and stale.
