I'm scribing this message with so much pent-up anger and profound sadness that it's proven difficult to articulate my thoughts into mere words. My family and I have experienced an abysmal and wholly catastrophic calamity at the hands of the hapless staff of "Hello Sky Air Rooms and Lounge." Their overt misguidance and blatant false promises have deeply tarnished the image of your company, to say the least.
Currently, I find myself marooned in Rome. Having made fervent attempts to confirm my room eligibility through my Visa, I was assuaged by your staff, not once but twice, that my visa facilitates access to your rooms and not just the lounge. I was explicitly informed that my family and I were free to access the facilities from 6 in the morning. It was on this belief, turning out to be pure fallacy, that I dared to move forth.
Feeling comforted with your staff's assurance, I went ahead and checked out of our hotel, took a 40-minute taxi ride to the airport with bags in tow, and an infant daughter to cater to. But, we were accosted with a blistering reveal from your officer stating that our visa doesn't render room access but only permits lounge usage.
Such a gross disparity between their words and action has left me perplexed and utterly disillusioned. Your staff had the audacity to suggest that we would have to wait until 10 a.m. to reserve a room, while our flight is expedited for a 10 p.m. departure. With no conceivable options left and over 14 hours to endure at the airport alongside a young daughter, we are left in dire straits.
It bewilders me that a company of your calibre could possibly cultivate such wanton negligence. The officer's persistent denials, strident in his assertion that he never confirmed room access, is a blazing lie and stands as a testament to your service's impropriety. This has left us stranded in an unfathomable predicament that I wouldn't wish upon anyone.
Your company's reprehensible disregard for us, devoid of any semblance of professionalism, has left us shaking our heads in disbelief. It's a tragedy that the once revered "Hello Sky Air Rooms and Lounge" has fallen from grace due to the sheer incompetency and unethical behaviour of its employees.
I shall make no secret of this unfortunate experience and will be actively sharing it with my network. Rest assured, yours will not be a name recommended amongst my circles. I want those responsible to be held accountable for the trail of havoc their false promises have left upon unsuspecting customers like ourselves.
I hope this account of our grievous ordeal serves as a clarion call for a change in your approach to customer service. I certainly wouldn't wish anyone to replicate our...
Read moreWe booked a night at the hellosky air room at 160eur which was costlier than the Hilton which is just slightly further away. Overall, the room is clean but we expected more.
Firstly, we arrived at night for a flight earlier in the morning at 8am. We were hungry and had no other options than to dine in the lounge (this requires separate payment). I ordered the “fried chicken with sides” and was told that the side was “roasted potatoes”. Ok, not bad. I was not expecting for a great meal but it surprised me (badly) to have received a heated chicken patty like those of McDonald’s and 6 pieces of hash browns. this should never be served in a restaurant.
Then as we proceeded to our room at floor 0, we were located right outside an array of bright fluorescent light (I suspect that it is the emergency escape area), that leaked badly into the room. The light leakage made it perpetually seem like 8am in the morning and I couldn’t have a good night rest, always thinking that I have missed my flight. They should have done a better job with the blinds blocking lights. I am usually ok with a little light leakage, but this really affected me too much.
Lastly, the toilet’s shower area seem to be missing a door which have water slashing outside, causing a mess.
With the amount of money spent for a hotel, I have expected more. For anyone considering between this and the Hilton, I would recommend to go with the Hilton, which seems to have a better restaurant and at a lower price...
Read moreMy husband and I checked into HelloSky Hotel on Sept. 26, 2021. We needed a hotel close to the FCO airport because our flight was leaving at 7:00 am. The hotel was sold out so we were lucky to get a room. My husband tried to take a shower to find out that the shower door would only open a few inches because it was scraping on the ground. The shower was not draining properly and the bathroom ended up flooding. There was not a drain in the bathroom so the whole room was flooded. We called downstairs for extra towels to soak up the mess but the linen closet with extra towels was locked for the evening. I couldn’t take a shower before our long flight back to the US. When it was time to use the toilet, we shouldn’t have been surprised that it didn’t flush. We only spent 6 hours in the hotel but it was the worst 6 hours we spent in Italy.
When we checked out at 0500 we explained to the front desk that the room was in no condition to have been rented out and that we wished to speak to the manager. I left my phone number and email and never heard from management. I have since called twice and sent three emails with no reply from the manager, Alessandro.
The location to FCO airport is great but our room was horrible with no working shower or toilet. The people working the front desk were nice but horrible customer service with no reply or attempt to reach out to me from the...
