Rossopomodoro Fiumicino aeroporto — Restaurant in Fiumicino

I came to eat here after searching the airport and not being able to find the restaurant I wanted to visit. I was given a table but after a few minutes nobody came to take an order so I had to get up & go request menu in English. After some time, an older gentleman came to take my order. He seemed like a manager, I've ordered Gnocchi alla Serentina and coke Zero. They seemed a little annoyed at me requesting ice and lemon for my Coke Zero, answered they could bring the ice, but they couldn't get any lemon. In a meantime time I have received 3pcs of bread in paper bag. When the pasta arrived, approximately 25 minutes later, it was placed in front of me without saying a single word or offering any seasoning, like salt + pepper, olive oil & balsamic etc. Just bowl of parmesan they brought with coke before. I added parmesan & my own chilli flakes, and tried the food, but it was hardly luke warm. When I stop the waiter/manager and ask him to heat it up, instead of apologising he said : Maybe its the plate that is cold, i said it was the plate & the food, so walked off with it without a single word. Brought it back reheated after few mins and again put it in front me without single word & left. Gnocchi was overcooked & and flavour if the tomato sauce was bellow average, especially considering this is Italy. Definitely very disappointing experience....

Dont waste your money on any food except maybe the pizza , ordered the bruschetta ( stale bread and lazy job of presenting the food , looked like it was thrown onto the plate ) The chicken in the Caesar salad tasted like refrigerated boiled chicken with no seasoning what so over with wilted lettuce

Finally the pizza was decent but where I come from Montreal Canada we have much tastier and authentic Italian food for about the same price like much much better

Pls stay away from this place if you’re craving Italian food you’ll be very disappointed Specially given the ridiculous prices .

Please ONLY go here if you have enough time to wait and eat. Do not miss your flight just because you want to eat in a restaurant and expect that you’ll have a dish as soon as possible because you have flight to catch :)

I didn’t have a bad experience here. I spent 1 hour and 10 Minutes here to wait and to eat. Thank God I had enough time to eat without a rush.

The ravioli that I ate was good for me. I don’t live in Italy so I have a pretty much low expectation. I don’t find good italian restaurants near my place, so this ravioli was for me really nice. If you have tried better ravioli before, then this might be not that good.
