The cashier's attitude was extremely arrogant, she looked down on me and had a high-handed demeanor. There shouldn't be any issues with communication in English. However, she seemed to have no intention of listening to my words, glaring at me in silence. There was a complete lack of a smile and courtesy, which was very unpleasant. As soon as we arrived at the airport, we were greeted by a small gelato booth on wheels, like a cheerful little orange and gold ice cream stand staffed by an incredibly friendly man. We couldn’t resist jumping into our first gelato in Italy! We tried the dark chocolate, stracciatella, and pistachio, and also picked up a few chocolates. I always stop by this shop at the end of my trips to Italy to buy some chocolate. This time, when I was choosing whether to pay in euros or dirhams on the card reader, I accidentally pressed the wrong button and ended up on the PIN screen.
