If you're looking for a really good value for money meal after a long day of Tuscan exploring, look no further than Antiqua Pizza Regina. What they have over most pizzerias in Tuscany is the sheer variety – there are 3 pages worth of pizzas, comfortably around 40 odd offerings starting as low as €11.

Their Calabresella has the slightly spicy n'duja, with the kind of kick you'll crave on crisp Tuscan evenings, while their Diavola was a bit more shy on the spice but was equally fulfilling. The crust on the dough had a nice sear from the woodfire oven and the base itself held up well under the sauce. We also ordered the tiramisu which came with a firm mascarpone rather than the more soft variant but was delicious nonetheless.

If you just go for the pizzas, you could order two whole pizzas for around 22€ (not including the cover charge.) Since the place tends to fill up with locals in the evening and seating is limited, they have a rule that a table must order at least two pizzas, which was good by us. It's a affordable, warm place run by a really nice owner who was kind enough to tell us her favourites from a menu that can sometimes be overwhelming for those who have trouble deciding from a host of...

Antica Pizzeria Reginè was recommended by the Gogò Petit Hotel manager. We've tried 3 restaurants from his list of recommendations. All of them were very good and exceeded our expectations. It was our 2nd day in Florence after spending 3 days in Rome. Our expectations for good pizzas were minimal. Our hotel manager stated that this is his favorite local pizza restaurant. It is where many locals (and now tourists) go for good pizzas. We ordered 1 margherita pizza to share since we were still full from the previous night's dinner. The waitress pre-splitted the pizza for us. The freshly out of the wood-fired oven pizza had a nice aroma from the crust and fresh basil. The freshness of the ingredients, the aroma of the crust with the sauce, created a balanced delicious pizza. We highly recommend you...

Uma das melhores pizzas que eu comi na Itália! Muito saborosa! Preço bom! Atendimento ótimo! As pizzas na Itália são individuais, mas acabei não aguentando a minha, muito bem servida! Recomendo a visita!

We really enjoyed our experience at Regine pizzaria! The pizza was great, one of the best that we had in Italy! Great size either, I couldn’t finish mine, so we ordered to go. The staff was so polite and kind with us. Most of them didn’t speak English, but they tried to communicate with us either way. But there was a boy who speaks English very well and he was really helpful, explaining all things we didn’t understood from the menu. Everything was great! I really recommend the visit!

Ps: there’s a lot of options for those who doesn’t eat meat. But not for vegans, cause most of pizzas will...
