OMG! By far the best pizza I ate in Italy. This place was a recommendation from social media as a must try. All the great reviews were correct! Upon arrival, the line was long and around the corner. I was thinking, this is crazy, but soon realize that there was a separate line for ToGO orders. We were able to order the pizza with the exact toppings and receive it in less than 30 minutes. It may have been longer, but the aroma of pizza was wonderful and everyone in line seemed to be in good spirits waiting to be seated, served, or pick up order. We even met a guy that stated he orders almost overnight from this location. Not only was the pizza really tasty, but the price was also beyond reasonable with large portions. We were there a few months ago and now writing this review is making me want to go back to Florence specifically for this pizza. If ever in the area, please try!!! ----Oh I forget to mention that the pizza is cooked right in eye shot if you decide to dine in. What an experience!

Ok so I never leave reviews but I just have to say something of what my experience was and what was my expectations where and supposed to be. So before I went there I looked and read the reviews there where a lot of positive and less negative I thought good that a good sign. I made my order and waited for my food. When It came it looked good. But as soon as I cut the pizza it looked off. When you mix water and oil they do not mix well and they don’t get along so they separate. I don’t know what they used as a liquid but it was separating all ready. Then there was the sauce problem there was hardly on there sure there was some around the crust but in the middle of the pizza it just looked like it evaporated out of thin air. There was also not flavor. It’s just tasted like tomato. I order a margarita pizza. In the sauce you couldn’t taste any seasoning whats so for ever. It just tasted plane like they used some kind of a tomato can. The crust did have a nice bite to it but off course with the separation of the oil and liquid in the middle it just tasted like a saggy pizza. I am very disappointed I know what Italy pizza is supposed to to taste like because I have experienced the best pizza that Italy has to offer. I’m sorry to say this this isn’t not really Italian pizza. It’s disgusting. It was so bad that I had to call my MOM overseas to vent my feelings. I didn’t even finish it. I just ate four slice and pretend to enjoy even though I really wanted to throw it in the garage bc that’s where it belong. I have worked in kitchen before so I know what it’s like and what kind of pressure they are under. But I have been told by my chefs that (would u want them have it in a hurry and have it not fully ready for services or would u want them to wait so u can make sure it comes out good.) I wouldn’t mind waiting as long as it came out good. But unfortunately it did not it was not worth any money and it was not worth the stars if I could give it a -0 I would.

I'm glad I was able to try Gustapizza! It was a nice treat and good experience. Around 1:30 PM, other restaurants were beginning to close, so we wandered over here. There was a line forming along the wall, but we were seated within 15-20 minutes. Between four people, we shared three pizzas and had about 7 slices leftover. They gave us a box for the leftover slices. Gustapizza €12 - This was my favorite! It had fresh arugula on top. The tomatoes were so good. I loved the tomato sauce. Porcini €13 - This was good only because of the sausage. I didn't like how mushy the mushroom was. Cotto e funghi €12 - This was the second best of the three. This also had tomato sauce. The ham and mushroom were good. The table next to us ordered the truffle pizza €15; it smelled so good. I would try that next time. Credit card/Apple Pay accepted. Pay at cashier. Bathroom is downstairs. No WiFi. Menu is in English. Cover charge €2 per person.

One of the best pizzas we have ever eaten. We ordered a Margharita (added burrata cheese) and a Pesto. Both were incredible. You can see the whole pizza making situation and the glorious oven which makes this an experience. However, for dinner, the restaurant opens at 7pm, we were there at 6:57pm and the line was so long. We could not enter as they starting to let the line in. Then waited 55 minutes so that people will finish eating and leave. The main issue is that after we were seated and ordered our pizzas, it took 47 minutes for them to be served. The take away pizzas were the main reason as I have watched over 30 pizzas to be put into boxes before ours. So just be aware that it takes time to eat the incredible pizzas. By the way, the queue problem also exists in the bathroom as there is only one.

Their namesake pizza, the gusta pizza is pretty good. A very healthy and fresh tasting pizza with fresh arugula and cherry tomatoes. The napoli sardine pizza is a very polarizing pizza that is extremely salty but if you choose an anchovy pizza you know what you're getting into. The porcini pizza is a little too much and I personally didn't like the texture of the toppings and it could have used some acidity from tomato sauce. The pesto pizza was pretty good and I have no complaints with it. Overall the pizzas were fine. They are all personal sized but filling. The staff are friendly and don't try to rush you out like some other places. The lines outside do get long before opening, try to get there early to snag a table inside during the colder months of the year.
