We ate here on our first night in Florence & our mouths are still watering thinking about how flippin good our burgers were!! I got the 1950 (I think) and added an egg and bacon. Holy smokes, it was unreal!! My husband just got a standard burger but also added an egg and bacon. The steak fries were good as well. And the staff there are a hoot! Very lively and friendly! Highly recommend this joint, especially if you’re looking for a break from pizza and pasta!

Un'esperienza da panino medio alta In un mondo dove le paninoteche sono onnipresenti, spesso mi trovo a viaggiare con una missione ben precisa: scovare l'eccellenza in un panino. Il panino si presenta come una vera opera d'arte, un'esperienza gustativa che mi riporta alla mente le alcune creazioni assaggiate a New York o a Londra. Il costo è più che giustificato dalla qualità, un dettaglio che molti concorrenti sembrano ignorare. C'è però una singola, ma cruciale, considerazione che mi sento in dovere di fare, una tecnica che ho visto implementata con successo solo in rari e prestigiosi locali. Il panino non va schiacciato. Anzi, si dovrebbe rimuovere delicatamente la mollica dalla parte superiore del pane. Tostando i quattro lati interni di entrambe le metà, si crea un incavo perfetto. Inserendo le salse in questo spazio, si assicura che il ripieno rimanga al suo posto, evitando la frustrazione di ingredienti che scivolano via. Mangiare un hamburger deve essere, prima di tutto, un piacere, non una sfida. Un ottimo panino non è solo una questione di sapore, ma anche di comodità e di ingegneria gastronomica. Aggiungerei anche che qualche ingrediente in più non sarebbe male per elevare ulteriormente l'esperienza, dimostrando una vera passione per l'arte dell'hamburger. Questo locale è a un passo dal raggiungere la perfezione.

The concierge at our hotel recommended this spot—we were a little skeptical because it can be hit or miss with those kinds of recommendations. We were looking to grab a quick bite before touring Florence and it did not disappoint. Amazingly fresh bread and ingredients. I loved watching him cut the prosciutto as we watched and take his time building a beautiful sandwich creation. And the taste was it of this world for 6 Euro. YUM!

Owner tried to protect or defend Italian culture but he didn’t even try to present himself as a true Italian like every single one here I met in Florence, if you want to spend your money on being educated and be told what to do in a place you are supposed to get some rest and have delicious food, I would highly recommend you to go. Otherwise don’t waste your time in this beautiful city. Oh, BTW, I am 100% sure this wannabe tough guy is racist and probably hiring some students and give him below...

Pretty disappointing experience. The food looks far better online than in reality. I paid €8 for what was essentially plain white sliced bread with no sauces — no effort or care put in at all. The whole ordering system was confusing and frustrating. I wasted 10 minutes trying to use their platform, only to give up and order from the chalkboard instead. Overall, it feels careless and overpriced. Wouldn’t recommend.in a place like Florence Arnold’s is an insult to Italian...

The most delicious food in Florence. Coming from Atlanta Georgia USA, we needed something tasty that reminded us of home. The food is freshly prepared right before you and the add-one were just perfect. Sautéed peppers/onions, spicy eggplant…. Delicious sauces and reasonable pricing.
