Bar Nici — Restaurant in Florence

This place was recommended by a mutual contact who knew the owner Leonardo and oh boy, am I glad to have visited it! This is a very cute bar filled with interesting books, good drinks, and amazing music ( I loved every soundtrack that was played). Cozy and unique bars like Retrogusto are such a rarity. Discovered this gem on a whim and boy am I happy I did! A friend and I had a very long leisurely aperitivo here. The tagliere (meat and cheese boards) are delicious and high quality. The owner was welcoming and knowledgeable. Leonardo helped us choose wines throughout the evening. We especially loved the ambience. Located on a quieter street, great music, lots of books available to peruse and purchase inside. We will definitely be back.

We were fortunate enough to enjoy an incredible wine tasting here with Leonardo. Throughout the experience, they entertained us with stories and knowledge about the wineries, Italian food, the bar itself, and made us feel like family. The wines were not only better than some of their tastings we had, but probably twice the size for each serving.... And on top of that it was also very affordable.
