Flo Lounge Bar — Restaurant in Florence

A friend and I were in Florence for one night and found this place on Yelp. I’m not a fussy person and have been in many clubs in different countries but this is by far the worst experience in one ever. Me and my friend were looking forward to dancing but the minute we were on the floor we felt extremely uncomfortable. A group of much older men began touching us inappropriately and constantly trying to talk us even though we said we just wanted a girls night. We know this is to be expected usually and we just said stop and moved away but they followed us the entire night, even to the bar at one point. The vodka red bull was €12 and was watered down but that was not the problem. It was the harassment from the group of older men that was our issue and we felt so uncomfortable at one point we decided to leave early and go home. On the way out we told the bouncer and a blonde girl at the desk, just to warn them in case they were unaware and it happened to other girls and although English was a barrier, they ignored us and told us to get out. I went to this club early June 2019 on a Tuesday night. Pros: The club was packed with both locals and tourists. Yes, there is a high male ratio, but it was fun for a single girl like me. The cocktails are all $10, but I found the right bartender to flirt with and my drinks were strong. The view is amazing, so on a nice night it's a good place to go. Cons: While the music was good (hip hop and reggaeton that night), it was kind of old. Also, they don't card or screen at the door. I had an annoying Moroccan guy trying to follow me around outside of the club and he followed me right in without being stopped. Worst club experience ever!!! We expected to get in for free (ladies night) but had to pay the full entrance, because they „saw us drinking outside“ while in reality one of our group was drinking a water while waiting. The entire conversation was rude, unempathic and only one staff member spoke at least broken English. The vibe inside didn’t get better thanks to absolutely overpriced drinks (6€ for one shot), security guards everywhere (even at the toilets) and a tiny dance floor.
