Gelateria Pasticceria Badiani — Restaurant in Florence

My first experience: I stopped in while passing by, the staff was aggressive and rude. I proceeded to purchase a dessert, but was taken aback at how blatantly rude the waitress was towards me. She rolled her eyes, raised her voice making me feel unwelcome, and scoffed at me when handing me my take away bag... My second experience: I came in to grab a quick take away dessert and possibly a bottle of wine. The bartender was beyond helpful, showing and explaining to me all the variations of the specific wine I requested, and helped get a bottle down for me, and bagged it up. The woman working the ice cream area was all smiles and helped me pick a dessert and packaged it up for me, making small talk all the while.

Surely my favourite and best gelateria and pasticceria along the Via Dei Mille, just 2 minutes walk from Artemio Franchi, Fiorentina Stadium. From a chilling breakfast with wide selections of pastry (my favourite is Budino di Riso) and well made cappucino to artigianale lunch, try some menus and you will understand why I said artigianale - Anyway I attached many pictures of what I have tried in Badiani. This gelateria has all your usual staples plus some important additions like sesame, yellow tomato - in summer, and loads of creamier versions of your all-time favorites.
