No wait at all, which was a great start. The schiacciate are made fresh to order, and you can taste it in every bite. The focaccia was warm, airy, and had that perfect balance of crisp crust and soft interior – absolutely delicious. I went for the crudo, caprino, and rucola combination. The rucola was fragrant and peppery, the ham deeply flavorful with just the right hint of saltiness, and the caprino added a creamy tang that tied everything together beautifully. One sandwich would have easily been enough to share between two people, but it was so good I didn’t mind having my own. As a tourist, if I go 3 times to the same restaurant, it means it is good. And this place is more than good, it's incredible. All 3 times, the food was good. The second time, we had a riboletta soup and a Schiacciata. I usually do not eat much soup but this one was great. It's really filling. Fantastic place! Absolutely NOT A TURIST TRAP. We went 2 times, and both times it was full of Italian people. They have great paninis that taste like home. It is really well located. It is a small place, and most people take out, but they have some chairs inside. Their prices are great for Florence. They have a lot of sandwich options, and you can add ingredients.
