Il Forno Dolce — Restaurant in Florence

Any tourist or people passing by should really get in here.. I mean, the best breakfast you can have in Florence, I swear. The prices are really good and the food is typical from Florence, you can get some proper bakery stuff like croissants, cookies, tarts.. all freshly made. Don't get mistaken by the small place, it really deserves a lot, but people tend to go at bigger places....

Visited this bakery last year on a random search of something that resembled a sausage roll for my friend (found some). Went back again this year after liking it so much last year. Both the savoury bakes & the biscuits/pastries taste lovely, the prices are decent (€10 for 10 little sausage rolls, 2 pastries, 2 mini pizza’s & 12 biscuits). I will be back when I’m next here!...

Interesting breads not found in your typical bakery in Florence. A cornbread, a sort of pumpernickel.
