Seriously, the best panino of my life!! I will go out of my way on side streets to find the less touristy eateries in Italy, and this one's just off the beaten track away from the packed sidewalks. They are almost always better and, of course, less crowded. I was hot and tired after a morning shopping and Dante's house, dying for a refreshing prosecco and sustenance. I looked up the nearest caffé on Gmaps, and the first review said it was their favorite in Florence. I'm in!!! Wow... I am so glad I ended up there. Now it's my favorite as well! It's spacious, super classy, and glammed up tastefully, with plenty of open tables and air conditioned. The panini are huge. I got some kind of meat (maybe mortadello?) and bufalo formaggio, but what stood out is it had pistachios on top. She warmed it for me (they are so incredibly sweet 💓 and friendly even when busy), and I kid you not, the best in my life, and I've had a few 😆 Prices are incredibly reasonable in all of Italy, for the best foods, but here you can avoid jacked up prices on the main tourist strips in...
