We found this place online after a long day of walking at the Piti Palace and Boboli Garden. It’s to the left of the palace about a minute walk down the block. Small place so if you are a larger party you might have to sit in separate tables. We didn’t mind to sit in separate tables as we wanted to try a good local place. We waited about 15 minutes a for a couple of tables to clear up. The waitress was very accommodating and arrange 3 chairs per table. Hands down the best pizza we have had in Florence. They make the pizza as you order it , it’s very fresh. We ordered the maxi size prosciutto and mushroom pizza. Plenty for 2-3 people. Leave room for dessert and try the “Cantucci al vin santo”. Enjoy :).

We ordered the 4 staggione and the delicata. The 4 staggione was swimming in juices (from the canned artichokes?), making it one soggy puddle of diluted tomato water; olives were also generic canned ones that tasted like nothing. The delicata was anything but, oversauced and sun-dried tomatoes not chopped. The dough was lacking flavour, and the chewiness of crust as the pizza cooled down denotes over-kneading or subpar quality of flour. Quite a disappointment, but they don't charge a table fee; and we took consolation in having started our trip with some stellar pizza in central Rome.

Visited this place yesterday. It's very close to the square and Palazzo Pitti. We were with my sister, they made us a pizza according to our preferences. The pizza turned out to be fabulous. We thought that we would not master it, but when our pizza was over we wanted to continue)) We were also offered wine. We chose homemade. The wine was also very tasty. In summary, I will say that this is a wonderful service and delicious treats. I say hello to the girl who made us comfortable and did her job carefully for us. Prosperity to you!
