We found this place online after a long day of walking at the Piti Palace and Boboli Garden. It’s to the left of the palace about a minute walk down the block. Small place so if you are a larger party you might have to sit in separate tables. We didn’t mind to sit in separate tables as we wanted to try a good local place. We waited about 15 minutes a for a couple of tables to clear up. The waitress was very accommodating and arrange 3 chairs per table. Hands down the best pizza we have had in Florence. The normal size pizza made fresh for you was just perfect for a large lunch portion for one. The 4 staggione was swimming in juices (from the canned artichokes?), making it one soggy puddle of diluted tomato water; olives were also generic canned ones that tasted like nothing. The delicata was anything but, oversauced and sun-dried tomatoes not chopped.
