I stumbled across Manly The Office while traveling to Florence on business. Jet-lagged and in need of some caffeine (and a bite to eat), I followed the positive reviews in close proximity to my accommodations in the Santo Spirito neighborhood and was treated to some of the best coffee and hospitality on this side of the Arno. The avocado toast (with smoked salmon) was so good that I had to come back a second time to enjoy it again. The locally roasted "L'Australiano" beans have clearly been shown a lot of love, as the depth and complexity of each brew's flavor profile were among the most exciting culinary experiences of this trip, seriously. I also appreciate the consideration given to accommodating dietary restrictions. Mike and his staff are super attentive and accommodating, even going so far as to share the Australian "origin story" of this lovely café and its unique offerings. Good vibes all around! By all means - take the time to stop and smell the coffee.

Delightful Aussie running the shop - wish we had found sooner in our Florence visit! Second to last day and not one that they serve full menu of brunch, but the pastries were tasty and the dirty chia pudding excellent. Coffee is fresh roasted in Italy and he has his own signature blend. Medium roast, bright flavors and delicious in a macchiato. We bought some other D612 (local Florence roaster) to take home with us. Oh and his juices were fresh made in front of us and spectacular! Great experience all around! Definitely recommend going out of your way if you want fine espresso vs dark Italian roasts and basic drinks.

This is such a lovely and cosy place run by lovely people who lived in Australia (as i did)! I went there for brunch and had chai latte, apple cheescake with cinnamon, salmon and avocado toast, and freshly squeezed fruit juice. It was all delicious. Definitely go there for an authentic taste of Australia... but even of Italy, with its delicious local pastries. I strongly recommend it also to students from the US who are enrolled in the exchange programs nearby and miss their carrot cake and the like. Here, you can also find coffees of all sizes and sorts.

This morning, I was out driving my vintage Fiat 500 when I suddenly spotted a free parking space right next to Manly – a little hidden gem I hadn’t known about before. Of course, I took the opportunity immediately, and it was a great decision. As a true coffee lover who prefers water over bad coffee, I’m always on the lookout for quality. When I see a La Marzocco machine, I know there’s a good chance of getting a great coffee. But here, it wasn’t just the machine that impressed me – the coffee was excellent! A perfect roast, made with care and love. It was definitely the best coffee I’ve had in the last few days, and the barista clearly knows his craft – the cappuccino was better than I could make myself.

I will definitely be coming back and can highly...

On Sunday morning I walked into this small cozy cafe and was greeted with a very warm Ciao! Immediately I felt very welcomed. The energy of the staff is so warm and optimistic and their passion for coffee is felt throughout the whole cafe. I had a lovely açai bowl with a filter coffee from Peru
which was absolutely lovely đŸ‘ŒđŸ» Mike also allowed me to taste an espresso from his self roasted beans namely the ‘L Australiano” Incredible espresso!

If you are in Florence and you are a coffee lover or even looking for a place to relax you should definitely stop by Manly.

Gracie mille staff of Manly for the lovely experience can’t wait to be back soon...
