Vico Del Carmine — Restaurant in Florence

I came here with my girlfriend in our first night in Florence by recommendation of our Air bnb host and we loved it. We ordered the 4 stagioni pizza (4 seasons) and a fresh seafood pasta with the wine of the house. The pizza was amazing with very fresh ingredients and great flavors. The pasta was so good with really fresh shellfish. The wine of the house was ridiculously cheap and very good I absolutely recommend everything. We went there again a couple days later and ordered 2 other pizzas recommends by the waiters (can't remember which ones) and loved them My girlfriend still...

Senza infamia e senza lode. 5 stelle nn se le meritano né x la pizza né x il servizio. Mercoledì sera, 4 persone, una serata di fine agosto...prese 4 pizze con relative bevute, locale piuttosto affollato. Chiediamo subito da bere ma nessuno si fa vedere, richiamiamo l'attenzione del cameriere xchè avevamo davvero sete, niente, idem col proprietario, passano i minuti e nulla. Le bevande nn arrivavano nn xchè i camerieri fossero disattenti o lavativi ma semplicemente xchè sono sottodimensionati rispetto alla sala, quindi stesso problema x ordinare la pizza.

Pizza presa sia con impasto tradizionale che integrale, cornicione normale nn alla napoletana alto e soffice, ingredienti di buon livello, nel complesso buona ma nn certo da 5 stelle come ho letto in molte recensioni, se la graduatoria massima arriva a 5 io do quel voto solo se quello che ho mangiato mi ha fatto piangere dall'emozione, se è stato buono e basta do una via di mezzo, 3 stelle. L'ambiente è abbastanza chiuso x i miei gusti, le voci rimbombano x via dei soffitti a botte e si finisce x urlare tra vicini di tavolo. Il dolce era un Babà di loro produzione, pasta bella lievitata ma bagna assolutamente sbagliata, zero rumh e zero sciroppo di zucchero, sembrava bagnato con dell'acqua leggermente dolcificata, peccato. Prezzo abbastanza alto secondo me visto quello che abbiamo preso. 3 stelle vanno...

Starters were excellent, my wife and I had the mussels and my friends had the meat and cheese board. The meal stopped being excellent after that. I ordered the gnocchi and it came out cold and super soft, almost like mashed potatoes. My wife ordered the pasta with lobster and most of the lobster was raw. We were very displeased with what we received. The table next to us ordered pizza and it looked. Come for the pizza, stay away...
