Pane e Olio — Restaurant in Florence

Small place with table outside for a fast simple lunch. Located between ponte vecchio and palazzo Pitti at lunch time is quite crowded by tourists as well as locals. I got the traditional "panino con lampredotto" and "schiacciata con crudo ham and mozzarella". Lampredotto was good, cut in slices bigger than other restaurants it is possible to appreciate better the taste, mixed with green sauce and a bit spicy. The bread of the panino was not the best. Schiacciata was very good as well as mozzarella and ham. The draught beer tasted a bit watered down. Good coffee served with a cantuccio biscuit. Nice personnel...

Location: 7/10 Un piccolo paninaro senza pretese, a pochi passi dal Ponte Vecchio. Si trova nella piccola piazza di Santa Felicità, la quale ospita l'omonima Chiesa. L'interno classico e rustico quanto basta. Un classico posto per turisti senza pretese.

Servizio: 8/10 Attesa breve, con possibilità di consumare al tavolo, personale cortese e simpatico. Ottimo il rispetto delle norme anti Covid-19. Sui tavoli sono infatti poste delle tovagliette che sono state igienizzante davanti ai nostri occhi.

CIBO: 9/10 Il panino, fatto sul momento con affettati, carni e formaggi, affettati e tagliati sul momento, è possibile farcirlo con prodotti tipici e dall'ottimo sapore. Il locale presenta una lista di panini ai quali si possono tranquillamente porre modifiche. Veramente ottimo.

CONTO: 9/10 È stato possibile consumare un pasto veloce ed alla mano, ma dall'ottimo sapore, alla modica cifra di 5€ più le bibite. Nulla da ridire.

Considerazioni: Un po' fuorimano forse per chi non è interessato ad ammirare Firenze dall'altra parte dell'Arno, ma per chi ci dovesse capitare è un ottima scelta.

The food is really good, my wife asked for the lasagna and she loved it. The flavor of the pizza was also really good, we had natural orange juice it wasn't to big but it was good. The coffee is not the best but it wasn't bad. The tables are pretty close together so not way to avoid the smell of the cigarettes. Service was great they gave my kids...
