Best food in Florence, this was my second time visiting this beautiful city, and If you do not stop here for a meal you will regret it! What an amazing experience! Lisjen, his staff, the kitchen, the atmosphere was exactly what I hope for when choosing a restaurant in Italy. Absolutely eat here if you’re looking for amazing food and wine pairings. We started our meal with the beef carpaccio antipasti, and some Prosecco. It was fantastic, as a fanatic for carpaccio/tartar, I have to say the presentation as well as the flavor are immaculate. We followed that with the tagliatelle and wild boar sauce, which was perfect, the pasta was hand made and cooked to perfection topped with a savory sauce that will make you want more. We followed our pasta with the beef and green pepper sauce which blew us away. The meat was expertly cooked to perfection, and paired beautifully with the wine that Lisjen selected for us. We loved the food so much that we ordered a SECOND pasta dish, which was the tagliatelle with white veal sauce. Again, the food knocked our socks off! Finally we came to dessert, which was a pistachio white chocolate lava cake that might be the best dessert I’ve ever had. This review alone does not do this restaurant justice, it is a relatively new place but I’m sure it will THRIVE! I’m fortunate to have been able to have sampled food from all over the city and have to say this place is top tier. Expertly crafted dishes for every pallet and extremely knowledgeable staff for drink pairings or food recommendations. We saw some other patrons eating the Steak Florentine and I have to say if I am ever blessed enough to visit again, that may be the next item on my list!
