Amazing pizza, even better service and assistance! We found ourselves outside this cafe. We were a bit confused trying to find out how to buy bus tickets, it was raining, and a malicious pigeon had just relieved itself down the inside of my shirt collar! We went in and asked (in english) for some help. The kind owner said she spoke a little english, and gave us instructions on where to purchase bus tickets (inside Porta Romana at the tobacco shop.) Ov course we wanted to thank her and had a slice of amazing pizza, ham and cheese sandwich, a coke and a water. All for €6.50! Pretty sure she cut us a deal to be kind. I noticed, that people were eagerly buying some sticky, flat, sweet pie with violet coloured berries and went for it.

It was divine! Just in middle of eating I realised, that it was grapes in there! With the touch of anise seeds - it was a mindblowing combination for me. And a perfect balance of thin dough and sweetness.

Cosa ci si aspetta quando si entra in un forno? Non questo! Già l'ambiente segue il momento con un arredamento classico/moderno e le vetrine sono ben allestite con tanti prodotti ben presentati e invitanti. Si passa dalle schiacciate farcite alle pizze, dai coccoli di pasta fritta farciti alle croccantelle e i dolci non mancano tra biscotteria e mignon, poi sullo sfondo è ben ammirabile una variegata scelta di pani classici e lavorati. Appena entrati veniamo accolti con un bellissimo "Buongiorno " seguito da un sorriso che non dispiace mai e forse è per questo che si respira calma e gentilezza nell'attesa del proprio turno. E proprio quando arriva il proprio turno che si capisce la professionalità e la passione nel fare quel lavoro. Per quello che riguarda la bontà dei prodotti ci sarebbe da scrivere un poema per descrivere il gusto e la freschezza degli stessi ma è più facile tornare ad assaggiare altri prodotti.
