Giardino della Botanica Superiore — Attraction in Florence

A small cute botanical garden where it's always summer! This is a silent place not far from the Pegasus statue. There are no crowds of people, and it seems like an unpopular part of the Boboli Gardens. I was surprised with a variety of tropical trees, water plants, succulents, and cactuses. Absolutely fantastic species of plants! On the other hand, greenhouses and plants inside them are in terrible condition... So sad... Aperto a fine aprile 2019 per la prima volta in via ordinaria e conosciuto anche come Giardino degli Ananassi, è un giardino bellissimo! Uno di quesi posti da vedere anche per i fiorentini visto che il guardino era totalmente chiuso da anni e ridotto a una sorta di deposito/discarica. Il restauro è stato eccellente (in parte ancora in corso) e ricalca il modello ottocentesco delle ultime modifiche che hanno fatto diventare il giardino, un giardino romantico all’inglese. Fiori, piante, viottoli e fontane sono elementi di questa chicca all’interno del guardino di Boboli! Tra maggio e giugno la fioritura delle specie botaniche acquatiche è da non perdere!
