Literally a place where to eat raw vegan and fruit based pesticides-free delicious meals without even having to worry about added sweeteners or wheats of sorts, it ain't explicitly mentioned but I wouldn't be surprised if they sourced fair-trade or so as well considering the approach.
Been there three times out of four meals I had in Florence, would've been there the fourth too and shamelessly if it was for me... trying new places is great but nothing beats going to the one that ticks boxes like no other, plus, the place is super nice and cozy and the girls are extra friendly and kind and even handled my absolute-Karen-level request to change some ingredients with a smile, and did I even mentioned how beautifully well presented the food is served? It feeds the eyes too.
This must quite definitely be the place, never have I thought I'd find it but there it is. Thank you Raw Vegan...
Read moreBy far my favorite place to eat in Florence. Are here twice in 4 days. I’ve tried the açaí bowl, the green juice, the ginger shot, the raw wrap, the Napoli pizza, and the veggie pizza with red pepper and zucchini (can’t remember name… not raw but vegan and gf). I’m not strictly plant-based, but I love eating this way, and, coming from the USA it was really cool to taste an Italian perspective on plant-based eating. Bravo!
I also want to comment on the “it’s expensive” thing. I used to work at a raw vegan cafe. The ingredients are so much more expensive at a raw food restaurant because there are no fillers — no cheap white breads, pastas, potatoes, rice etc… You get what you pay for, and here you get fuel for your cells, not just calories.
For what you get, I found this place very...
Read moreI ordered this nice looking dish which was about to pretend piadina. Happy just after reception as it looked so fancy, soon I realized that 90% of it's content is RAW cabbage. Another 5% - paper-like wrap and remaining 5% the rest which is stated in the ingredients list. The whole combination gives result of surprising taste of raw cabbage, it is also hard as a raw cabbage. As it is wraped in something of firmness of falling apart wet paper, it is impossible to keep one's dignity in desperate attempts to eat it, both with the softer than raw cabbage bamboo fork or hands. And there is also this glass of waterlike tahini without any clear purpose due to features described above. I give two stars bcz I liked the interior. Don't know anything about rest...
