Rios Firenze-SMN (Poké | Sushi | Bubble Tea) — Restaurant in Florence

During my trip to this city, I was inspired to stop by the Rios Poke cafe, hoping for an unforgettable experience and delicious food. Unfortunately, my visit turned out to be a complete disappointment from the very beginning.

Service. From the first minutes in the cafe, I felt that something was wrong. Waiting for more than 20 minutes to be noticed and accepted the order was a real challenge. The staff didn't seem very happy about our visits — their answers to questions about the menu sounded like in the painful format of "what else do you need?" When, finally, the food appeared, it was served with a delay, and you shouldn't be surprised if they don't bring you what you really want We ordered it.

The quality of the food. As for poke, I was as disappointed as possible. The fish was not fresh, and the vegetables seemed to have survived more than one night in the refrigerator. The set of dishes also left much to be desired — I expected at least some harmony, but instead I got a boring and tasteless combination. The sauces that were supposed to add brightness turned out to be either too salty or completely tasteless. As a result, the food left only negative emotions.

Purity. The interior of the cafe also did not contribute to creating a pleasant atmosphere. Crumbs and stains were visible on the tables, and food wrappers lay on the floor, creating an overall impression of neglect. It seems that the staff does not care about cleanliness at all, and this state of the institution has a very bad effect on the perception of restaurants of this type and on the whole city.

Prices. The prices at Rios Poke are sky-high for this level of establishment. I paid a considerable sum for a dish that, in my opinion, was not worth half the stated price. I was left with the unpleasant thought that I was simply deceived as soon as I left this place.

In general, I cannot recommend Rios Poke to anyone, including other tourists. There are many more decent establishments where you can enjoy delicious food and good service. Despite hoping that other visitors might have better luck, I'm unlikely to ever come...

Super conveniently located poke stores that is just across the main train station. I am SO SO THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED BY THE FOOD IN THIS POKE JOINT! Really good value compared to what you normally get in other European countries and even other poke joints in other Italian cities and London where I live. Portions are massive, fish is fresh, diced salmon and tunas are large cubes and not tiny pieces in some other poke stores I've been to that feel like a rip off, and they actually treat you to alot more toppings, I'd actually prefer if they give me a bit more grains to balance things out. Look at the mountain of toppings they pile up on my poke bowl! It looks unreal! They are also very generous with sauces, so if you like your pokes saucey, you don't even need to think about asking for extra sauce. They've got a new TRUFFLE SAUCE that you can pick for free! The price is really good for what you get.

It's not the most tourist-friendly place as some of their staff don't really speak English. There's a guy who is is really friendly and helpful, and a girl in red hair that looks mildly irritated with her job and having to serve ppl who aren't familiar with the menu. Service could be better on the whole.

They also make good bubble teas, and has a range of drinks from slushies to milkshakes, teas and milk teas. reasonable prices. And they make sushi rolls, hand rolls, and chicken buckets a well. Best of all they close super late at night at 11am, if there is such a place where I live, I'd go there every day.

I came here twice when I was in Florence for two night, and I'm definitely coming back for more if I ever visit...

I ordered 2 times since I like the first one soooo much. I ordered caramello frappe something both times. The first time was the guy who made it. 10/10 Perfecto 👏 Next day I ordered it again but this time it was. woman who made it. The second one was THE WORST bubble tea I ever had in my life. It was the frappe that tasted like nothing so I had to ask if she did the right one for me.
