Ristorante Pizzeria Dante — Restaurant in Florence

If I could give this 0 stars I would. This was the worst experience I have had at a restaurant! We were told that students get unlimited wine with the purchase of an entree. I came with a group of 10 and we all got an entree. We were first given 2 bottles of wine which we finished, and then we were given 2 more 15 minutes after we got our food. Since it was unlimited wine, we expected to be able to get more. The women with dark hair shushed us after asking if we could have more. We then asked the man a couple times to no avail. A man who appeared to be the manager/owner assured us that they were bringing us more drinks. We never got more. The woman finally came back and told us that we needed to leave for another group after only 1 hours and 15 minutes of being there. For a group of 10, that is no time at all. We tried to explain that we were waiting for more drinks and she said no we needed to pay and leave. She then brought the check and said that we could all pay with one card or individually pay with cash, which makes zero sense. The food was not good or authentic and the service was horrible. Never go here for unlimited wine as they will not honor what...

The microwaves were in full swing. The waitress was not fed up of chewing her wasp and kept on at it with other customers and the cutlery needed some work. Washing up liquid would have done the job! Cold and boiling lasagne in the same serving is hard to achieve. I take my hat off to the master chef of the microwave. He or she has not mastered that, that loads of teenagers may have mastered over the years. If you’re gonna microwave a meal, it tastes pants but at least mix it so everything gets hot! This sums them up in a perfect nut shell. Wait for it…Sent it back. Bites out of it.. waitress even knew whose bites were who’s and placed the plates correctly back after cooked first time / left in fridge , reheated for First serving to customer and then reheated on second time. After being cooked once, warmed once and then re heated again. 3x heated and to boot… it was just horrid. Made a complaint. All of a sudden no English from our waitress and .. well.. left lunch laughing it was so bad. I say laughing. I kept decorum. Wasn’t rude. Gave them enough rope and they took it and charged a full priced bill....

Tonight was one of the worst experiences my wife and I have had in Italy. The service was a bit slower then anywhere else we had eaten in Florence but my real issue is with the food and the service after. When the food finally arrive we begin to eat. My Spaghetti Bolognese was mediocre however my wife's risotto was extremely undercooked to the point that after a few bites she stopped eating. We decided we wanted to take the food home ad give it a shot tomorrow. Upon asking for the food to be packaged take away the (presumed manager) told us no take away. He told us no take away and proceeded to say that no restaurant in Florence does take away. (Now I know this to be lies as I litteraly did take away earlier that day.) When I told him this then he said we are to busy for take away. When my wife explained that her meal was undercooked he told her no everyone loves their risotto..Apparently not..We paid 35€ for a few bites of food that was from meh to down right poorly cooked and didn't even get to take it home...NEVER GO HERE IF YOU WANT GOOD ...
