S'impasta sas — Restaurant in Florence

First, the pasta: you can tell it is well crafted and probably would normally taste great but for our visit, it was not well prepared at all. We had 2 different stuffed pastas and both had many that were still hard and the filling inside was cold, almost crunchy. The carbonara went overboard on the carbon: tasted like a buttery ashtray. The ragù was very tasty. Butter parmesan sauce was meh, again because the temperature was cool. Next the service: everyone was friendly but not so attentive to us. This was due to the customers that arrived after us. They were most likely the chef’s kids and grandkids because she came out of the kitchen and spent an inordinate amount of time doting over them as did the servers. This probably explains the poor preparation of our meals. Meanwhile the grandkids are carrying on and screeching at the top of their lungs with little to no correction from the parents. This combined with the constant running around and bumping into our chairs made for a poor dining atmosphere. I have a feeling this place is normally much better than 2 stars but for us...

Interessante e promettente, ma purtroppo non ci siamo, porzioni a discrezione del cliente, mezza porzione normale e big, purtroppo la qualità non è gran che, primo di pesce da mensa e senza carattere oltre al fatto che ci ha fatto andare in bagno in diversi, la carbonara invece è stata servita con uovo rappreso, inoltre fanno pagare l'acqua alla spina, cosa che negli altri locali non fanno pagare. Unica cosa interessante è la pasta fatta in casa di vario tipo. Prezzi da copertina che alla fine risultano un po alti in quanto con un primo big che altrimenti essendo pasta fresca e molto pesante non risulta neanche nel piatto, il coperto e l'acqua, si superano le 10€ per alzarsi con la fame. Inoltre vorrei aggiungere che il servizio lascia un po a desiderare in quanto la cameriera è veramente troppo seria e distaccata a tratti scortese. Non volevo aggiungere quest'ultimo particolare ma dato che mi si corregge e mi si dice che i gusti son gusti quando invece dovreste scusarvi del fatto di aver servito una carbonara con uovo rappreso, ho deciso di modificare la recensione ed essere un po più preciso su...

S'impasta è sinonimo di pasta di ottima qualità!! Se ti piace mangiare un primo di buona pasta fatta fresca questo è il posto perfetto. Proposta di ottimi primi fatti in modo tradizionale ma veramente perfetti!! Ma non solo...secondi e dolci!! Ci sono stato più volte a pranzo. Raramente ho trovato monotonia nella scelta, il menù giornaliero cambia sempre, la qualità delle materie prime rimane invece la stessa: eccellente!! Non si trova in centro storico ma è sempre molto richiesto e quindi consiglio di prenotare. Dimenticavo un aspetto molto importante: personale veloce, simpatico, attento, in giusto rapporto al numero dei tavoli, sempre disponibile, pronto a scambiare una parola aiutando nella scelta!
