Great sandwich shop, home made products with reasonable prices and incredibly friendly staff. Lets start with the food. The focaccia here is home made and purposely a little underbaked so that when the sandwitch is made and toasted it finishes cooking leaving the focaccia soft, fluffy and delish. The deli meats are the traditional tuscan fare, but where Sandwichic really shines are their home made spreads. Caramellized onion, pear, tomato, eggplant, red pepper and more! I tried the red pepper and it was amazing! The store is very cute, feeling very old world. The theme is "sewing" as you can tell by the bundles of thread and old sewing machines spread all over. It's a bit of a squeeze if you need to eat in, but most people take their food to go so finding a seat was not hard. The staff is very friendly and patient and they speak English very well. Their choices are incredibly varied an (obviously) written in Italian, so they spend literally hours explaining what is what to tourists but they don't seem to mind. All in all, tasty, fast, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Would go again but might not eat in as it was a...

If I could put a million stars I would. I could seriously write a book about how much I love this place and the owners, Andrea and Marco. This place is a hidden gem about a 5 minute walk from the duomo. All of the ingredients are locally sourced so it is the most authentic sandwich you will taste in Florence! The spreads are MAGNIFICENT, my favorites being zucchini, cinnamon pear, red pepper, truffle, and artichoke. But they are all fantastic. The bread is toasted fresh in front of you and has a nice crunch but melts like a cloud in your mouth along with the yummy cheeses and variety of local meats. YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER PLACE IN THIS CITY. I lived here from fall-winter 2022 and recently went back this weekend and I’m not exaggerating when I say that I’ve been here probably close to 100 times. Never had a singular bad experience. Andrea and Marco run a fantastic establishment. Ask them for recommendations, they are the friendliest guys on the planet and love to help! And buy a spread to take home with you because I promise you will miss it so much. It’s like they put some kind of drug in these things …....

Oh my gosh so good! This cute little shop was so packed, but the cashier still did his best to help us in between the onslaught of customers. They quickly whipped up our big order and we went to find a spot to eat our sandwiches. The crispness if the bread first met with my teeth as they sunk into my little treasure. The salami and truffle sauce danced around my tongue as I chewed my bite. I'm sure I felt actual chills as I enjoyed every bit of this sandwich. We had several sandwiches that we reluctantly passed around amongst the family, none of them disappointed. This place was so memorable for every aspect of the experience, but above all else, the sandwiches themselves. The fresh ingredients are evident, as is the care they put into each component. I love sandwiches, but I fear none will ever compare to the ones I had sampled...

We happened upon this place on route to see the David statue and thought we would see what kind of sandwiches they make. We were immediately greeted by 2 friendly guys who asked what we wanted. The guy here took the time to explain how their menu worked, what the ingredients were, where they were sourced from and what works best with what ingredients. I left it to his recommendation and told him I wanted what was usually popular and I can definitely see why that sandwich is popular. The bread is lightly toasted and stays crusty throughout the meal. The meat is plentyful and so full of flavour. The cheese is melted and the sauces are divine. Overall what was supposed to just be a snack turned into an all out experience. If you want to try the famous sandwiches of the region than don't sleep on this place as you will regret it for sure.

SandwiChic is an old school spot that’s all about quality. From the staff to the ambiance inside, this quaint little spot is all about the sandwich. Staff is very helpful, and will make sure you understand each ingredient of the sandwich you desire, and answer any question you have. Featuring a long list of sandwich options, and unique craft beers, sodas, and juices. I got Capocollo with Mozzarella, Creama di pepperoni, and sun dried tomatoes. The perfect blend of a sweet taste with the savory of the capocollo, i was very impressed. I would like to note not as a complaint but as a heads up, that this is not a quick sandwich spot. They are putting a lot of care into each sandwich, making it very worth the wait, and a spot i would easily return too!
