If I could give 0 stars I would! I don’t even know how this place have such a high review rate(?)… we made our reservation to celebrate a special date, we were excited to go there, but the bad “things” started happening from the moment we stepped in… the first girl who showed us the table, was so rude and even rolled the eyes for us… but we thought maybe it’s just her, and she was in a bad day…. But no… all the staffs were rude and treated us badly… only one 20-30ish year old guy saved that place and was nice and attentive…. When ordering, the waiter rolled his eyes for us, and was being rude to every answer he gave us. We wanted to order one sprite and one bottle of wine for three people and he said no… u can have one sprite and one glass of wine only, and didn’t even let us choose the wine. Maybe they treated us this way because we weren’t totally dressed up and also, different from the other tables we didn’t want to order a 60 euro steak, specially because one of us is a vegetarian. But this is just me assuming (by observing how he treated the table next to us). Anyhow, the food came and it was okay to say the least… wasn’t bad but nothing special either… and by how the staff treated us, the food tasted even worst and wasn’t worth our time. Don’t go there. There are so many other options, and good ones. So...

why ? Because we decided to leave after only 10 minutes in the restaurent. Eating is supposed to be a pleasure but when you are stressed by a poor waiter that really dont understand the meaning of its job, its better to eat somewhere else. Even if I speak some Italien, the waiter suddenly arrived like there were a fire to extinguish and asked me a question in Italien so fast that I did not understood a single word. I kindly asked him if he could repeat or if he knew some french or english, maybe this could be easier. He simply answered in a very rude manner "Parlo Italianno" and took one of the 3 bottles he has in his arms and put a Pelligrino in front of us and ran away. At that very moment, I knew my experience will not be good at all and that will ruin our night. My wife and me decided to leave. As the beautifull Florence is a very touristic place, I think restaurents should hire people that can live with that. That poor server should probably change for another work because this kind of person impact negatively a restaurent that maybe worth trying. But for now, if you are a tourist, and if you dont speak Italien, avoid that place...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Antico Fattore in Florence, and it was an unforgettable experience. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the papardelle with boar sauce. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the rich, savory boar sauce was a delightful combination of deep flavors that transported me straight to the heart of Tuscany.
The devilled rabbit was another standout dish. It was tender and succulent, with a spicy kick that balanced beautifully with the robust meat. The preparation showcased the chef’s skill in blending traditional recipes with a touch of modern flair.
We also enjoyed a creamy and well-executed risotto that was both comforting and sophisticated. Each bite was a testament to the restaurant’s dedication to using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
The ambiance of Antico Fattore added to the overall experience, with its charming, rustic decor and warm, welcoming staff. It’s clear that this restaurant takes great pride in delivering not just a meal, but a true Italian dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in authentic...
