Locanda degli Adorno — Restaurant in Genoa

We were looking for a lunch spot during our road trip and stumbled upon Locanda degli Adorno, a gem frequented by locals. Our dining experience was fantastic - the food portions were hearty and flavourful. We particularly loved the trofie pesto and focaccia di recco.

The staff were nice and friendly, adding to the warm atmosphere. On our way back to Barcelona, we made a pit stop to have lunch here again because it was so good. This time, the menu items were different, allowing us to try other delicious variations. Everything was just as amazing as the first time. We ordered almost everything on the blackboard for sharing between 4 adults.

Delicious, homemade and very kind service! They only speak italian but they were very gentle and made an effort to understand us. And if you don’t understand something from the menu they explain it to you (everything is in italian and it is written on a board, so no pictures). They were fast serving the food! Quality -price ratio is amazing. Food was delicious, and prices are excellent! We chose the zucchini lasagna and pasta (penne) with tomato sauce (pomodoro), and one of us had fried fish. The quantity in every dish was more than enough to have only 1 dish, though if you are very hungry you can share o have a second dish too. All of that plus drinks costed a bit...

i almost never write reviews, but ive just had the best meal ive had in a long time here. i loved the quiet atmosphere, only one other family dining with us, we arrived shortly before 8 pm. we had white wine and polpo con patate to start. the octopus was fresh and soft and everything was seasoned beautifully, not too many olives. then i had the pork stew w onion chestnut sauce and it blew my mind, truly. it was soft and served with the most flavorful thyme potatoes ive ever had. i can’t recommend this place enough. and the tiramisu. i...
