Nestled in a bustling corner of the city, Indiano K offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for casual dining. While it doesn’t aim for haute cuisine, this modest establishment delivers a satisfying experience for those seeking comfort food with a dash of Indian creativity. The menu features a mix of classic dishes and a few innovative twists. The standout for me was their chicken Masalla . The flavors were familiar yet elevated, with a hint of smoky paprika that added depth. The portion size was generous, making it ideal for a hearty lunch. Their main courses cater to a range of preferences. Service was friendly, though a bit slow during peak hours. The staff seemed slightly overwhelmed but maintained a cheerful demeanor, which softened the wait. The decor is not fancy but it does have a charming homey vibe. Prices are reasonable, with most mains falling between 10 and 18 euro. For the quality and portion size, it feels like good value. While this place may not compete with fine dining establishments, it excels at being a reliable neighborhood spot that leaves you satisfied and eager to return. Rating: 4/5

We ate at this restaurant last year during our trip to Genova and I promised the chef that I would write I review. It took a bit and I'm sorry for that. 😅 We ordered some chicken as a starter. The seasoning was amazing and the chicken itself was as tender as it can be. The main dishes tasted great as well and were very authentic. One thing you should keep in mind is that they mean SPICY when they say spicy. 😂 Normally, I can take some heat, but I wasn't expecting to find such an Indian experience in a restaurant in Genova. Therefore, I "had to" order another Mango Lassi. Luckily, it tasted great as well and I would always recommend that drink. All in all, I can recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly if you want to eat Indian food for one evening after a week of Pesto and Focaccia.

I had the pleasure of dining at Kohinur, a highly regarded Indian restaurant in our town, and I'd like to share my comprehensive experience:

Ambiance (4/5): Kohinur's ambiance strikes a harmonious balance between traditional and contemporary design elements. The tasteful Indian motifs in the decor create an inviting and warm atmosphere. However, a bit more ambient lighting could enhance the overall dining experience.

Service (5/5): The service at Kohinur was truly exceptional. The staff exhibited attentiveness, friendliness, and an impressive knowledge of the menu. They made excellent recommendations and ensured our dining needs were met promptly and with a smile.

Food (4.5/5): The highlight of the evening undoubtedly was the food. Kohinur offers a diverse menu of Indian cuisine, and each dish was masterfully prepared. The flavors were authentically rich, with spices balanced to perfection.

Drinks (3.5/5): While the restaurant offers a decent selection of non-alcoholic beverages, including Indian-inspired cocktails and various soft drinks, the drink menu felt somewhat limited compared to other establishments. An expanded drink menu with more unique offerings would be a welcome addition.

Value for Money (4/5): In terms of value for money, Kohinur delivers a commendable dining experience. While it may not be the most budget-friendly option, the quality of the food and the overall experience make it well worth the price, particularly for special occasions.

In Conclusion: Kohinur is a delightful Indian restaurant that excels in many aspects. With impeccable service and delectable cuisine, it's a top-notch choice for a memorable meal. Although there's room for minor improvements in terms of ambiance and drink options, I wholeheartedly recommend Kohinur to anyone seeking an exceptional Indian dining experience. Overall, I would rate...

We had dinner here after noticing it on our walk in the afternoon. The staff was approachable and friendly and the atmosphere was warm so we returned. We love Indian cuisine, so this was a great opportunity to have a small break from the (still delicious) Italian cuisine.

Staff speak perfect English and were professional and welcoming. They made us feel at home.

Big Thank you to Hashani who was the kind and warm welcome we felt in the afternoon and who served us at dinner. You're wonderful! Thank you to Imran who was our second server. Very nice people. 👍🏼 Great staff are vital to the nice atmosphere and great customer's experience. Wonderful job!

After seating and ordering, we were served papadum and condiments - freshly fried and fresh pickle. Chicken curry, naan and rice cooked perfectly. Tender chicken, balanced flavours, fresh herbs. Good portions to share between 2 people.

We had masala tea without milk, and they were very accommodating and understanding.

Food was fresh and delicious. Service was friendly and professional. Clean, nice decor, safe location. Definitely...
