Tranquillo — Restaurant in Lecce

we came this place two evenings in a row. the first one (14.07.2024) the staff was friendly and helpful. i ordered puccia la pulpo. it was amazing, octopus was soft and plenty of burrata in it. that’s why, i wanted to come next evening again. also adviced to my wife to eat that amazing puccia.

this time (15.07.2024) everything was really dissatisfying. different staff and different attitude. the guy ignored us, like we were invisible. finally we took his attention to get menu. and we waited also to give meal order.

puccia was disappointing, octopus was soft again, ok but very very less burrata inside. i think, that makes the difference.

a restaurant must have standards about recipes. you can’t change grammage of contents every time. and you need to train your staff.

Tourist trap. Don't visit, if you like good food and service. I had to wait 50 min for a cold plate of ham and cheese. My friend who ordered a burger got a tough, already slightly burned patty. The pasta looked like it was bought in the supermarket. It wasn't especially bad, but for the price I would expect the pasta to arrive hot, not cold. I had the pleasure of visiting this Italian restaurant, and I must say it was a true culinary discovery! I ordered the pasta with pistachio sauce, and it was absolutely delicious – creamy, flavorful, with a subtle nutty note that paired perfectly with the al dente pasta. Everything was perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented.
