English people are not welcome.

We came in here really excited, great reviews about the beer and welcome. We found this place to watch a big premier league match, asked in advance if they were showing it and then arrived an hour before to have some food and a few drinks before the match. On arrival the staff were annoyed by us just being there. We got a seat, ordered food (the menu is 99.5% meat based, like it’s 1970) were the only people watching football in the whole room, we had to ask for the sound to be put on, then at half time they turned it off and put on a local match (totally fair enough if we hadn’t been sat there for 2hrs and weren’t the only people there) we asked for it to be put back on to be told it was for the local people who were coming, we were completely alone in the main room, no locals no on else around. Ended up in an argument and then we left. No “big table” ever came to watch Lecco get beaten, surprise surprise.

Go somewhere else, this is not an Irish bar with a friendly welcome, this is a bar in Italy for Italians who don’t like tourists. Also they cannot pour a pint to save their lives, it’s like a massive ice...

They are the best, beer is fantastic, food is delicious and good price for the quality and quantity and the best thing about them is that they can speak English very well- If there is a football match of their teams, you will enjoy a nice and lovely traditional ceremony which comes from their rich culture. The atmosphere of this bar is so friendly and warm, it is my favorite bar in Italy already. Oh and they have the best lamb burger in the world. But there is some disadvantages too, when it gets too crowded, it is possible that you won’t get exactly what you’ve ordered or a dirty glass, but based on what I’ve experienced, staff will take care of it quickly, but of course they can be more...

MAI PIÙ !!! Premetto che gli hamburger che abbiamo ordinato erano buoni. Nulla da dire, nemmeno sulla birra. PECCATO CHE NON SIAMO RIUSCITI A TERMINARE LA CENA IN TRANQUILLITÀ, A tal punto da lasciare la birra e decidere di andare via. IL PROBLEMA È IL SERVIZIO !!! Entriamo nel locale alle 19.30 circa, ci dirigiamo verso la sala più grande che è piena, constatando che i tavoli sono tutti occupati , vediamo all’entrata sulla sinistra un tavolo libero e chiediamo se possiamo metterci lì, ci viene detto di sì, prego, accomodatevi. Ordiniamo hamburger e birre e restiamo in attesa che arrivi la nostra cena. Prima arriva la birra e di lì a poco i gli hamburger. Pochi minuti dopo aver cominciato a mangiare, Arriva un cameriere dicendoci che ci dobbiamo spostare da un’altra parte perché è arrivata altra gente. Con il boccone in bocca, rispondo che non possiamo spostarci mentre stiamo mangiando. Siamo all’incirca a metà del nostro hamburger e arriva un altro cameriere con modi poco gentili che ci ripete, che ci dobbiamo spostare, perché si deve sedere altra gente. Gli rispondo educatamente che se vuole può farli sedere insieme a noi, ma che noi non possiamo alzarci mentre stiamo mangiando. Passano ancora pochi minuti e arriva una terza cameriera, sempre con questa storia. A quel punto, essendo riusciti ad ingurgitare frettolosamente l’hamburger, Il mio amico che è un po’ più veloce di me e perfino riuscito a finire la birra, la mia è ancora nel bicchiere. Avremmo voluto mangiare e magari bere ancora qualcosa, ma decidiamo di abbandonare la birra a metà , pagare il conto e di andarcene… A questo punto, con il boccone...
