Our only mistake was that we didn’t eat here until our last night in Lucca. The steak tartare was just melt in your mouth and I have no idea what the white sauce was but it was absolutely brilliant to accompany the mustard. The carbonara was perfect and the brown sauce with the tortellini was out of this world.
The staff were very friendly and accomodating, we had a lovely chat about the meal and the wine. Oh the wine, they had the best Prosecco I’ve had so far in Italy, and my husband said the Sangiovese was the best he’d had also.

Read moreThe service seems unfriendly at first - because they want you to eat at their restaurant, and not just have a snack and a drink - the name is confusing i know… but thru let you know what their deal is right away. Once we order the experience was very nice and pleasant - the staff asked us repeatedly if everything was ok and asked if we wanted anything more.

The service is very pleasant and the drinks we well made. We popped in for aperitivo and the snacks they brought were very good - some cut meat and cheese, bread, and chips. The prices were very reasonable too. Can't comment about the meals, but for aperitivo it was the best place we found...
