Today me and my girlfriend were looking to end the night with some authentic Italian pizza and boy did we get lucky. The staff, the setting, the food, it was all top notch. They were friendly and spoke English. We asked for recommendations and he gave us 4, 2 of which were one of the cheapest in the menu(that tells you they're not trying to rip naive tourists off). The pizzas were probably one of the best we've had and definitely the best ones we've tried in Italy. Overall a great place which deserves way more customers. If it wasn’t for you, we’d never have eaten here and missed out on what was probably the best pizza experience of our lives. The traditional pizza carbonara with mangalitza is an absolute gem. Tip: ask for a bit of ‘nduja on the side and use it here and there to spice things up. The babamisu for dessert completed the tasty experience. Such nice staff, such great food. Visit this restaurant when...

We were the last table to finish for the evening, but we're never felt to be rushed. Our server had a great demeanor and showed great care. The highlight of our family's stay in Matera. Our kids (15 & 6) finished all their food and loved every bite. Beautiful setting, light music appropriate for the tone, and very tidy. Couldn't find fault in anything. Wish there was something like this...
