Il Giardino de "La Durlindana" — Restaurant in Messina

The restaurant does not have reception on arrival, so you walk through kitchen where you can see the plates prepared in advance, pass the toilet there is little patio inside where you find the waiter with the maitre'd. We ask for table but been ask to wait as couple of Italians arrived just behind us, we wait and been pointed the table for 2 with the finger so we ask if we could not seat in the doorway but the request was denied even if only 2 tables...

Recently me and my colleagues successfully finished an important project for a major company in Italy and in order to show his appreciation for the job well done our boss took us to La Durlindana Srl. Top. Ottimo servizio , personale sempre presente dall'accoglienza alla continua presenza al tavolo per verificare la fluidità del servizio carpendo con anticipo le necessità del cliente. Beh le portate una progressione continua, dalla varietà di antipasti con una degustazione di crudo a base di pesce con scampi ,gambero rosso , spada ,tonno ..... ai paccheri con scampi e granella di pistacchio ,al secondo di pauro in crosta di mandarle e gamberoni al gratin per accennare qualcosa . Tutto di eccelsa qualità. Per ultimo complimenti al Sig. Alessandro , nonché titolare , ma soprattutto eccellente padrone di casa che sempre con il sorriso sulle labbra, nonostante la responsabilità nel controllare che tutto fili liscio, scherza con i propri clienti facendoli sentire di essere a casa tra amici.Mi è piaciuta molto anche la mise en place , l'unico rammarico è di aver fatto poche foto ma perché ho pensato più a mangiare sinceramente. Beh magari la prossima volta farò più attenzione a documentare le portate...
