The food was very tasty, but when taking the price into consideration, something doesn't click for me. I ate the beef burger which was very tasty indeed (even though the meat definitely wasn't gourmet - just beef burger meat), my girlfriend had a sandwich with jamon or something similar, and it was good but bro, it wasn't worth 25 Euros for a burger, a sandwich and a cola. The dude that was serving us was not welcoming at all - and it's cool, people have days like this, but he was the same one day before when we passed by to ask for the menu. Superb, great service and tasty food, the olive oil was divine and the fish was so fresh it still moved. The chef prepares the food in front of you and you can clearly see his passion for gastronomy. We had the tasting menu and a delicious gourmet sandwich, the chef explained in great detail the source of each piece of fish from where it was caught and the regional specifics of the seasoning and sauces. Everything was very authentic and delicious, kind service with passion and a very modest price, portions were nicely sized...

Alla ricerca di un locale dove prendere qualcosa al volo per cena dopo la processione della Vara e...La TASTeria!!! Un locale piccolo ma super accogliente, in sè raccoglie la Sicilia e le sue prelibatezze...idea VINCENTE! Da assaggi di pesce fresco a toast o panini con i prodotti tipici siciliani...forse per la fame, ci siamo buttate su due toast ( quelli che ci hanno colpito a prima occhiata ): Belpasso ( Mortadella al Pistacchio di Bronte, Piacentinu Ennese, pesto di Pistacchio di Bronte ) e Caltanissetta ( caponatina siciliana, mandorle d'Avola, pinoli e uva sultanina ). Per chi preferisce è possibile anche richiedere il pane integrale...tutto talmente ottimo che il giorno dopo abbiamo bissato per pranzo essendo in giro di nuovo per la città. Questa volta prendendo un Pantaste Torre Faro ( Tartara di Pesce Spada, Origano, Pesto di Pistacchi, Cappero di Salina, Pomodorini, Basilico, Olio bio, Limone, Pesto Pomodorini Secchi )...ECCEZIONALE!!! e...un Toast Torre Faro ( Spada Affumicato, Limone Interdonato, Pomodorino, Pesto di Pistacchi di Bronte ), il tutto accompagnato da una ottima birra Timilì Red. Il proprietario gentilissimo ci ha offerto alla fine anche un assaggio di succo d'uva bio ( buonissimo ) e un liquore al pistacchio, altrettanto buono. Quindi...ASSOLUTAMENTE...
