I regret to say that my recent dining experience at Abinaya Ristorante Indiano was extremely disappointing, and I feel compelled to provide feedback on the subpar quality of food and service. Firstly, the Mutton Biriyani I ordered was a major letdown. There was an alarming scarcity of mutton in the dish, leaving me questioning if it was indeed a meat biriyani. Additionally, the rice was overly sticky, making it almost inedible. The portion size was abysmally small considering the price charged, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and cheated. To compound my dissatisfaction, upon reviewing the bill, I noticed an inexplicable overcharge of 7.5 Euros. This discrepancy was not explained to us, leaving a bitter taste in our mouths, both figuratively and literally. The service throughout the meal was nothing short of pathetic. The staff seemed disinterested, and our concerns were met with indifference. It was abundantly clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority. Overall, my experience at Abinaya Ristorante Indiano was far from enjoyable, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to others. The combination of low-quality food, overcharging, and dismal service left me feeling very, very...
Read moreMost HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ONE COULD EVER EXPECT- really bad and UNSANITARY interiors (our tables were rotting with fallen food on it), extremely poor service (a restaurant of 30 people has 2 cooks in kitchen AND 1 SERVER), they did NOT have ICE OR SAMBAR OR COCONUT CHUTENY TO SERVE!!!!!!!! (sambar is a basic curry and necessity at a south Indian restaurant) and when we asked for more, instead of apologising that they didn’t have any. they told us we should have “booked our dosa from before on the phone as It is not readily available.” After arguing with the waiter to give us some more, the cook came down To the table to show Us down by saying “they cook for Italians and students not for Indians who eat sambar in large quantities” - well if Indians are not welcome you should say that online. (And they charged us for asking for 2 extra bowls of sambar - NEVER HEARD FROM A SOUTH INDIAN RESTAURANT BEFORE!!) there a 100 other things wrong that I don’t want To bother expanding on for example the door says free Wifi and they did not have any Wi-Fi. Hope this shuts down soon so nobody else has to go through...
Read moreLow quality food and very bad service It used to be a pleasant place in the past, that unfortunately got worse.... I am very familiar with traditional South Indian dishes, but what we had last night was very far from food I usually eat in Tamil Nadu. We ordered Gobi 65 (cauliflower starter ) and instead got Chicken 65. The shape and color are very similar - it's the same way of preparation. It was impossible for us to make a difference at the first sight. I' ve been pure vegetarian for more than 25 years! I even forgot the taste of meat, so only after taking a couple of bites it was clear what we were served. They said we were only guests who ordered Gobi / cauliflower starter , hence due to some mistake in the kitchen we got chicken. They apologized for this mistake, without understanding the problem caused to vegetarians. Dosa wasn't prepared properly as well. It seemed more like a crepe than a real thin- crispy dosa! Chutney was also pretty poor, so all together we had very bad experience. At the end of the...
