BALALA HOTPOT — Restaurant in Milan

Ok so I tried to give this place another chance and the food was okay this time but the service was so aggressive! The head waitress is so rude and while I’m adding spices for my pot away from my table, she yelled at me asking “aren’t you going to order a drink??” Very aggressively as if it’s an obligation! But then I realized later that the cheapest drink on the menu is water which is for 3€… then I realized she was only sweet to men customers who were coming in only.. besides that it’s very loud atmosphere.. she’s trying to keep it friendly among customers I think so she’s speaking very loud to customers non stop that you can’t hear your friend with you on the table! I wish there was at least some quietness and self control for a better calmer atmosphere. But really this time the food was good but the head waiter or whatever who was there can only be summarized in rudeness + noise. I got some chances to have a HOTPOT dinner with Italian friends and they love it ! I really like the fact that in this place, everyone have their own pot , so we could choose seprately the soup. We got the chance to meet the resturant owner, the lady is so amazing! she talked and introduced the process of how they trying to innovate different soup, so the soup is actual made from real bone and meat, rather than pre-pare soup block as many others do. So the soup tasted really good , specially the lamp one. And you can order various of ingredits in the menu or pick it from the fridge, and eventually all are caculated only in one fixed price, no matter how much we pick. It is a bit hard to reach the place but we found it as a treasure of this experience. My friends and I had so many fun of cooking this particular food. really like it !...

My family and I are mostly plant-based and we wanted to have a good hot pot dinner. To say we were blown away by the quantity and quality of vegan food offered is an understatement, in addition the staff was so kind and reliable, you can see they put great effort in their job. The price-quality ratio is just perfect for how much food you can digest in a single sitting, not to mention dishes such as stir fried noodles are included in the ayce formula.
