Bicerìn — Restaurant in Milan

don’t let the cozy interior fool you. they allowed us to make an early reservation but they were not even open at the time. they even served us mojitos without any mint at all. we even asked for crodino, specifically a non alcoholic drink for someone who can not drink alcohol, and they gave us a campari soda. we asked for wine instead to hopefully make it easier for them, but they could not suggest any wines and was not able to open any bottles! one one drink was served correctly and it was the aperol spritz. the service was astonishingly horrible. mind you our drinks came after 30 minutes because they had no bartender present. the servers also did not speak any italian. one of them only spoke spanish. even more astonishing. worst service and organisation i have...

Had a great experience here. Just walked by and the cozy atmosphere caught my eye. I love Italian wine and Bicerin has some impressive bottles in stock. My favourite at the moment is Amarone and who I assume was the owner (very welcoming lady with glasses) was actually super kind to open a bottle and sell me a glass as I was alone and a full bottle may have rendered me unable to walk home. :) Light jazz in the background rounds the ambiance off nicely. On top of the friendly staff and great vino they have an impressive small menu to pair your wine with. I choose a beautiful beef cheek in a rich sauce which went perfecto with the Amarone. I would be coming here everyday if I lived in Milan!...

had a couple of glasses of a really nice sparkling falanghina that was light and fresh, great for snacks that come with the wine. with those cheese popcorn they serve which are delicious and original. design and atmosphere are excellent, cozy warm and staff very welcome ... which is really nice to consider in the area. it was a first but definitely will go back to try more wines, inside canteen is very nice to look at. sofas and padded chairs are in great shape and give you a comfy, familiar feeling.. great for a date but also a chill little hight out with a couple of friends, I'd say 4 max....
