The Daal Dhaba I had for dinner was quite good, but I am taking off two stars due to some less-than-professional actions from the server that made me think the wait staff was doing whatever they could to upsell or save on fees. The first incident was that after we requested two sparkling waters (expecting two 500 mL bottles) the server returned with an already opened bottled liter bottle of San Pellegrino. We thought it was suspicious, and we didn’t want to pay for the entire bottle, so we returned the bottle and asked for a small bottle instead. Another incident was noticing that the menu charges 5 euros for a side of white basmati rice (the entrees do not include any rice or bread). The last incident was the server making a big show of not being able to accept my foreign debit card on their POS - I noticed that she didn’t listen to me when I said that she should keep the card in after it was inserted, but did so when offered an Italian bank card. I thought this was strange since the establishment advertises that they accept...

We visited this restaurant as a big group of nine, including three kids. Despite our last-minute reservation, the staff was extremely accommodating and welcoming. The service was exceptional, with all the staff being friendly and going out of their way to cater to our needs.

We tried a variety of dishes, including prawn tandoori, chicken tandoori, and the veg potato tandoori for starters. For the mains, we enjoyed the fish masala curry, chicken curry, chicken biryani, and a comforting dal tadka for the kids. The food was flavorful, and we particularly appreciated how they tailored dishes to suit the kids’ preferences.

The standout feature of our visit was the hospitality. The staff made us feel at home and ensured the kids were comfortable throughout the meal. Their attentiveness truly enhanced our experience.

If you’re visiting Milan, I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for its excellent service and warm hospitality. The food deserves a solid four stars, and the overall experience...

The food was quite good, but unprofessional service really spoiled the experience. We asked for frizzante water and the staff returned with a large bottle of San Pellegrino water that was already opened and not as fizzy as you would expect. When we asked to change it for a smaller bottle that was unopened, the staff became quite defensive and insisted that the bottle had just been opened. This could have been avoided by opening the bottle at the table, at which point we would have been able to ask for a smaller bottle without any trouble. Then, on paying for the bill, the staff tried to suggest that our credit card was not accepted by clearly not inserting it properly into the machine. We told the staff to leave the card in for longer, but she did not do this. When we switched to a local card, the staff left the card in and the transaction was completed as normal. Very disappointing service and I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant based on...

Below expectation and over priced Went to this place for dinner(14th August 2023) after reading high recommendation reviews on Google. Chicken biryani with no yogurt, salad or water served. The taste was like a beginner cooking, it was chicken and rice with onions and tomatoes NOT biryani. Price: €17(15+2 covered). When I asked for water/salad/yogurt, all need to be ordered separately told by the owner(to charge over €17). I had Chicken pulao at Indian Restaurant and Take away Milan for €5 a day before. Better taste, basmati rice with basic salad and water. Pro: 1. Central location, clean place 2. Humble and very friendly owner Con: 1. Food taste and quantity below expectation for €17. Rice doesn't look good quality/basmati. 2. No raita or salad or free natural water, bottle only filled with tab water to make money 3. Very hot inside, AC looks ON but not sure at what temperature. Outside was 85°F in the night.

We randomly came across this cute place on Google one day and decided to quickly run around the corner here for lunch before they shut at 3:00 pm for an afternoon break. Starving for Indian food since we only had pizza and pasta in Naples for 5 days we ordered some butter naan, paneer makhani, cola and sliced onions which came complimented with Roasted Papad and 3 types of chutney. The meal was sufficient enough for 2 pax - costed us around 30 Euro, was served fresh and hot and the people there were super duper nice. Being hospitable makes a difference. If you’re in Milan I would suggest to stop by for a quick meal.
