Bistrot Pattari — Restaurant in Milan

We had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant due to one of the waitresses. She was extremely unfriendly and seemed to have no interest in serving us. Every time she came to our table, she pulled a face. On top of that, one of our dishes was missing. When we politely pointed this out to her, she made it seem as if it was our fault. She then became sulky and started arguing with us at the table instead of simply bringing the missing dish.

When the dish was finally brought to us, we were constantly subjected to her unpleasant stares, which made us feel very uncomfortable. She kept looking at us in an annoyed way. Came here for lunch as the place looks busy. We tried to order a chicken burger and a brown pasta. We were told that the brown pasta ran out and as I was frantically trying to choose my next candidate the waitress actually started tapping her finger on our table which we found inappropriate.

I decided to go for smoked salmon club sandwich without the fries. And voila, it came with fries and my sandwich had a piece of crust as the middle toast. You just never put a crust inside a club sandwich. When we tried to pay at the cashier, despite the queue behind me the lady actually took her time giving me a change of €2.90 in a €1 and the rest in gold cent coins!Definitely not...

The food was mediocre at best, but not restaurant worthy. My girlfriend ordered a chicken salad and got a few pieces of very dry and tasteless chicken with a very small salad to the side. My pizza had good dough, but the cheese was the most rubbery I’ve ever eaten. The prices were high, somehow we had to pay €44 for a pizza, chicken salad and two soda’s. The pizza was €11, the “salad” was €14. How this adds up to €44 with two drinks is beyond me. I didn’t tip them and I always tip! Most of the staff was very uninterested, dare I say rude.
