**Awful Experience – Avoid This Place at All Costs!** I’ve never been more disgusted by a dining experience in my life. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this place doesn’t care about its customers, its staff, or its food. The food was absolutely dreadful—bland, overcooked, and clearly not fresh. It was like they’re just slinging out microwaved leftovers, hoping no one notices. But what truly made the experience unbearable was the horrible manager. It was shocking to watch how they treated their staff, barking orders and making them feel small in front of customers. It was a toxic, demeaning environment, and it was clear the staff were miserable. And to top it all off, this manager had the audacity to treat paying customers with the same disdain. We weren’t just ignored—we were outright treated like we didn’t matter. As if that wasn’t bad enough, there was an unmistakable undertone of racism in the way we were spoken to. It was subtle, but unmistakable. This kind of behaviour is inexcusable in any establishment, especially one that is supposed to be welcoming. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are so many better places out there that actually care about their customers and staff. Save your money, save your time, and stay far away from this disgraceful excuse for a restaurant. Her name is Francesca. She is wrapped in her own ego and think everyone owes her the world, especially tourist (black tourists) that visit Italy. This has changed my perspective about the country for the worst and now I believe the rumours to be true about Italians. Francesca is her name.

It’s a cute little corner bistrot which serves stuff like risotto, salads and meat dishes like the one I got. My first dish was a risotto Milanese which wasn’t perfectly cooked, but wasn’t soggy or mushy either. Lacked flavor a bit. My meat dish with polenta was better seasoned and had more flavor and good texture on the meat. I am rating the place with 4 stars because we got superb service from a very attentive Brazilian waiter. Otherwise I’d go for 3. Really satisfied with the service, and not dissatisfied with the food.

We were there for lunch yesterday and the only fast thing was the seating, this is a tourist trap, the food was not good, the waiter took forever, and the wine might as well be vinegar. The waiters instead of waiting on costumers they talk among themselves and smoke all the time, not a pleasant view while dinning, and on top of that they serve the plates with their hands smelling like cigars. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone I repeat a tourist trap.

Save your time and money and go somewhere else. I was looking at the menu and the dish with beef cuts looked good for what I was desiring at the time. One of the waiters asked if I wanted a seat and I accepted. Once inside the heated outside room, I was sat at the table and given the menu. I sat at the table for over 10 minutes trying to get the attention of the waitress, but she was seemingly ignoring me and would not look at me directly. After waving my arms, she finally came to take my order and was rude and short with me. I asked for the meat to be cooked medium rare and also asked for a salad to be brought before the main course of beef so I could eat it before the protein. After ordering, she brought me a paper bag with 4 small bread rolls inside and my water, then I was ignored again. Another waitress came in the area and she just stood there on her phone talking to the other waitress. A waiter then came out with both my salad and the protein dish. Since I didn't want the meat to get cold, I ate it first, but noticed that it was more medium than medium rare and it was pretty dry and tasteless. A good protein IMO should not require any additional seasoning, but I had to season with the salt and pepper on the table. The potatoes were decent with salt and the salad was also decent with oil and vinegar which is why I am giving the rating a 2 and not a 1. Overall, the food was not worth the price paid as I have had much better for a lower price and the service was horrible. Again, go somewhere else. As I sat at the table waiting for someone to ask for the check, I looked at the Google reviews and I then realized that I should have looked first. There is a review with pictures of the same waitress with a 1 rating and overall as I am typing this review, the place has a 3.3 rating and I can...

I would give No stars if i could but it doesnt work so the 1 -I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant if you only speak English. They seem to have just one waiter who speaks English — a woman from georgia i think idk she had alot of tattoos and black hair— and even very well. She had a very strong accent, only understood part of our order, and didn’t bring everything we asked for. On top of that, she was quite unfriendly, didn’t pay close attention, and seemed more interested in rushing through the order than actually listening.

When things were missing, she blamed us and claimed we never ordered them. She took no responsibility and never apologized. Even when it became clear that we felt disrespected and like second-class guests, she showed no empathy — in fact, she even mocked our feelings.

What was especially inappropriate was that, when we raised our concerns, she asked us where we were from — as if that somehow justified how we were being treated. Our nationality had absolutely nothing to do with the situation, and the question felt like an attempt to deflect responsibility or excuse her behavior.

We reported the experience to the manager, who was very kind and apologetic, as were the rest of the team — even though none of this was their fault. They were all friendly and professional.

In summary: I wouldn’t particularly recommend this place, but if you do decide to go and only speak English, make sure you’re not served by that one waiter. The rest of the team understands some English and is much...
