A Mixed Bag of Italian Disappointment

Nestled in what seems like a prime location for tourists, this Italian eatery presents a confusing culinary experience. While the service was commendable, with staff being attentive and the restaurant maintaining a pleasantly quiet atmosphere, the authenticity of the cuisine is questionable. The prices are moderately cheap, which is a definite plus for budget-conscious travelers. Adding to the positive aspects, the staff's honesty and care were evident when they secured my forgotten belongings, providing a sense of security and trust.

However, the gastronomic adventure took a nosedive with the bizarre inclusion of English chips and German frankfurters as pizza toppings, as shown on their instagram. This fusion, or rather confusion, of cuisines raises serious questions about the chef's commitment to Italian culinary traditions. Further compounding the issues, the restaurant's decor seemed suspiciously familiar, with accusations of stolen photographs from another caterer, without giving credit.

The state of the restrooms was far from satisfactory. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and the dirty toilets were a significant letdown, reflecting poorly on the restaurant's overall hygiene standards. It's disappointing when such fundamental aspects are overlooked, as they contribute significantly to the overall perception of a dining establishment.

In conclusion, while the friendly service, reasonable prices, and secure handling of lost items are commendable, they cannot outweigh the culinary missteps, questionable decor practices, and hygiene concerns. This establishment seems to be more of a tourist trap than an authentic Italian restaurant, and potential diners should approach with caution.

We saw this restaurant and on the first glance it looked nice but then we sat down. We chose to order the entrecote and it was the wordt decision we could make. I make better steak at home than this restaurant does. I dont think they have ever heard of pepper and salt and we needed to use ketchup to be able to swallow the steak. Besides there is a plague of musquitos at your table stabbing you and enjoying your meal with you. Me and my partner werent able to finish the food because it was so bad, so we decided to leave it and just go. When the waiter saw that we were sending full plates back. He didnt even ask what was wrong. He looked annoyed and not suprised and disappointed when he didnt get a tip. We paid 60 euros for a steak when i could have ate some kebab on the corner. After a long walk, we decided to take a seat at this restaurant that looked like a lovely place, but what a terrible experience. The host was very impatient and rude. It started when we asked for a seat for a baby and he brought us on that was dirty and almost threw it to us. After that we just decided to give it a chance and see if the food was good, but too bad.. food was mediocre, no flavor and to make things worse; the grated cheese was GREEN and MOLDY.. I couldn’t take a picture because the sir was going to change it for us, but when he came back he literally gave us the same cheese but just without the chunks of mold in them… a disgrace. We only had pasta and when we got the receipt we also saw that there was a obligatory fee that we had to pay (€2,- per person) which wasn’t told before we sat down.
