Caffè Leonardo — Restaurant in Milan

I passed by this gem in central Milan by chance, it was raining and cold and I was walking from the opera house back to Brera where my Airbnb apartment was, so I popped in for a glass wine and some rest. I had such a great time that I decided to come back again the next day. People who work here are absolutely wonderful. They’ve made me feel so welcomed. We had an amazing visit. The food was great but the staff was exceptional. They were quick, attentive, and genuinely care about their customers. I have a visual impairment but still have some usable vision. The staff all went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and appreciated as a customer. They were all very helpful and just a general delight to deal with. We had dinner at another place and had the opposite experience, which makes me appreciate this cafe all the more. Aperitivo was just some salt chips and a tiny bowl of peanuts. No refills, we were ignored by the staff after being initially served. That makes 9€/spritz (8 + 1 for the table) excessive IMO.
