Charleston — Restaurant in Milan

Rude and impolite people We came for drinks at 8pm and were planning to leave in an hour max asked for a table for 3 people outdoor to be safe from the pandemic as much as possible, and they didn't ask any questions if we are having dinner or just drinks

the place was about 60% full, and the seated us immediately after ordering the first round of drinks, the waiter kept asking us if we wan to order food, I kept explaining that we are just having 2 rounds of drinks and leaving

the manager came in a very rude way, saying " This is a restaurant and not a cafe, you can either leave or be seated inside"

I told him we can just finish our drinks and leave, but he insisted that we must be relocated or leave immediately

I insisted to finish our drinks, and that due to the pandemic we didn't prefer to be seated indoors He refused, so I asked to pay, they got us a wrong bill, and took them few minutes to correct, I left the payment, waited for change and were almost ready to leave with just few sips of drinks remaining

The only good thing about this place is the location. Other than that, it s a total waste of money: The waiter was a simple a@#$%&#^e: didn't say hi or anything didn't reply to thank you didn't look at us and was just rude all the time

The food is even worse: Asked for the veggie pizza and mushroom pizza, they looked really bad with little veggies on the first one and canned mushrooms thrown only in the middle, not even cooked, on the second one. We ate because we were hungry.

Special service: The restaurant has a special service for Italians vs. tourists, the waiter was friendly with Italians and extremely bad with tourists. We heard a local next to us telling him, "dont treat me like you treat tourists, I am a local, so get me the free bread you usually offer and give me a good service".

Bill: This place charges an extra 9 euros for just sitting on the table, we usually don't check the bill, but the bad service made us do that. And this guy had the nerve to say this is the charge for the napkins and table top.

All in all, this is the worst place I have been to in Italy, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Just stay...

Don’t be fooled by the interior/exterior. This place looked like a really fancy restaurant and the staff were friendly but the food was terrible. We ordered a starter and main and the mains came out first which we pointed out so he brought out the starter (which was small for the price and the bread was burnt). They then brought out the mains and it was clear that they just left them on the side because the food was cold. The mains were awful, they came out with no sauce or veg and the quality was very poor. When we brought this up with the waiter he did deduct one of the meals but did not do anything else about the bill. They were defensive and used excuses about why the food was cold and it was clear that they were talking about us to other staff. We kindly asked to speak to the manager when a waiter replied saying he was the manager only to then later tell us he wasn’t the manager and refused to get the manger involved… Overall the waiters were pleasant but I would avoid this place at all costs, it was...
