This Sichuan restaurant in Milan is an absolute gem and my go-to spot for authentic Chinese cuisine. The food is consistently outstanding, with top-notch quality in every dish. The restaurant stays true to its Sichuan roots, offering flavors that are rich, bold, and perfectly balanced.
One of the things that sets this place apart is the convenience of ordering. You simply scan a QR code with your phone, and you can browse the menu and place your order without any hassle. The process is smooth and efficient, which is great for anyone who values speed and ease.
The prices here are surprisingly low, especially considering the quality of the food. You get incredible value for money, making it an excellent choice for both a casual meal and a special occasion.
The staff is another highlight—they are always friendly, attentive, and super fast. Despite the quick service, they never rush you, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.
Now, onto the food itself. My absolute favorite dish is the fried chicken, which I highly recommend to everyone. It's perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor. The meat dumplings in broth are another standout—they're savory, comforting, and just the right amount of indulgent. And don't miss the sautéed broccoli; it's a simple dish, but it's done so well that it leaves a lasting impression.
In summary, this restaurant offers an authentic Sichuan dining experience in the heart of Milan. With its excellent food, affordable prices, and top-notch service, it’s a place I recommend to anyone who loves Chinese cuisine or is looking to try...
Read moreAvoid this place if you have a large group or are in a hurry.
Our group consisted of five people, and despite the restaurant being nearly empty, they squeezed us into a corner with only two small tables, claiming that more people would arrive. However, after 90 minutes, only two groups of a total of 5 people were present.
When we were seated, we were the sole customers, and we waited 30 minutes for any appetizers or dishes to arrive. We even ran out of table space, and the waitstaff couldn't even place the food on the table without asking for our assistance
My friend and I ordered the same dish that is bowl of noodles that comes along with a bowl of soup in seperate. However my bowl of noodle had come alone and I waited over 20 minutes longer than my friend with that bowl of plain noodles with no soup. No waiter seemed to care or inquire about why only half of the meal had been served before i asked.
By the time we left, the place was full, which was no surprise, given that we had spent over 2 hours, with more than half of that time spent waiting for our food in our corner. The slow service clearly explained why the restaurant claimed to be fully booked and placed us in such a tight space
The quality of the food was excellent, but the environment and service severely dampened the overall experience. The prices were reasonable, but don't expect a typical dining atmosphere or ample space if you decide...
Read moreA wonderfully authentic Chinese restaurant close to Chinatown. The quality and cost of the offerings were great. We ate incredibly well for c.€20 p.p. over lunch. The food came out fresh to order and was reliably delicious. The mobile ordering tool is a little clunky but staff were friendly and came over to check the order and talk through dietary requirements before putting the order in. I look forward to going back and trying more of the menu. If possible I’d suggest booking a table in advance as it can get very busy...
