Cruditè Milano — Restaurant in Milan

Excellent. Fine dinning. Surprisingly good price. To fully enjoy your stay here I recommend to go there with the metro (careful, long walking). You leave the crowded and fancy city center and go to another touristic district with a number of cafes and nicely decorated channel (I was after Xmas). But then you leave this district and walk about 5 minutes through the street literally in the middle of nowhere. Somewhere between train line, channel, and some (closed?) fabric. Amount of graffiti and thoughts about robbery increase with distance. Finally you reach the street with restaurant. You turn around the corner, pass cheap bar and pizzeria and stop in front of a very minimalistic entrance. When you enter, it is not what you expect to see. Just wait. You are in a room looking like a small empty cafe with the kitchen behind the glass wall. Doesn't look fancy, yes? Friendly manager meets you immediately and brings you through a not wide corridor to another room. And here it is! Stylish minimalistic room with modern lights, green plants, not disturbing jazz, and about ten tables all occupied (call restaurant at least one hour in advance to reserve table). Fine place. Good selection of oysters, good wine, excellent fish and pasta. I have tried a lot from menu and every single piece was excellent. Oysters... better quality then in other places I visited in Milan, but lower price. Respectively good service. Un lugar acogedor, con una buena propuesta gastronómica, buena bodega, no tanto de vinos (Italianos mediocres), como de Champagne (Selección excelente). Fuimos a cenar con mi pareja, Silvia, y sus 2 hijos. Todo estuvo bien y a la altura de las expectativas hasta que ALFINAL DE LA CENA MI PAREJA FUE AL BAÑO DE SEÑORAS, UNO DE LOS CAMAREROS DEL PERSONAL DEL LOCAL LA SIGUIÓ HASTA ALLI, ENTRÓ Y AGARRÁNDOLA CON FUERZA TRATÓ DE BESARLA. OÍMOS UN CHILLIDO. CUANDO FUI A DIRIGIRME HACIA EL BAÑO PARA VER QUE TODO ESTABA BIEN, SILVIA, YA SALÍA. SALIÓ CON LA CARA DESENCAJADA , LE PREGUNTÉ QUE HABÍA SUCEDIDO Y ME COMENTÓ LO QUE ACABO DE RELATAR. Pedimos explicaciones con vehemencia y firmeza tanto al camarero que trató de abusar de ella, como a la gerencia y dirección del local. En ese momento EL CERDO del camarero desapareció. Pagamos la cuenta, nos ofrecieron una invitación, que evidentemente rechazamos, y nos fuimos, no sin antes volver a pedir explicaciones al gerente del local. NI SIQUIERA SE DISCULPÓ, TRATO DE DEAJAR EL AGUA CORRER Y VOLVIÓ a OFRECERNOS UNA INVITACIÖN, que por supuesto volvimos a rechazar. Teníamos, seguramente, que haber llamado a la policía allí mismo, pero el suceso fue tan desagradable y nos dejó tan en shock que no dimos en hacerlo, por supuesto el gerente del local tampoco lo hizo. ESTOY SEGURO DE QUE ESTE SUCESO NO FUE LA PRIMERA VEZ QUE OCURRÍA, DE AHÍ LA ACTITUD PASIVA DE LOS RESPONSABLES DEL LOCAL. Por supuesto posteriormente, ya en frio, pusimos la pertinente denuncia el policía de Milano. SOLO ESPERO QUE ACTÚEN CONTUNDENTEMENTE PARA QUE ESTE SUCESO U OTROS COMO ESTE NO VUELVA A SUCEDER EN UN LUGAR CON LAS EXPECTATIVAS DE RISTORANTE CRUDITE MILANO

Great oysters selection, really nice environment and high quality dishes.

The restaurant is a bit down the main naviglio channel in a quiet residential area. Inside the place looks very elegant and clean. Nice soft music in the background.

Food quality is high and this is one of the few places I found so far in Milan where you can enjoy a proper selection of oysters. Great raw fish, no doubts on the freshness of it. Personally I found gnocchi good, but I would have preferred to have more fish in them that I haven’t been able to properly feel. Risotto with seafood was instead perfect, very meaty and with great flavor.
